I set out on a mission to make the best sex mix that’s ever existed; instead I’ve made something that is end-to-end gags and completely unbangable  🤷🏼‍♀️

So here is my absolute pride and joy, a collection of homemade baby making bangers compiled in an adequately lengthed mixtape for your enjoyment; more genres than sense with tracks made over the last year as I’ve learnt to produce, very excited to unleash this stupid/sexy project upon you all

The BIG PINK TARP SESSIONS vol. 1

For weeks, this track lived in a very specific place: late-night headphones, a looping kick, and me going back and forth between two selves that absolutely do not get along.

One of them wants a clean life. A tidy plan. A calm inbox. A spreadsheet where everything adds up.
The other one wants noise. Teeth. Risk. A little beautiful disaster—because without it, I don’t feel alive.

That fight is “No Satisfaction”.

It started as a weird idea—crashing proper songwriting into club music—and then it mutated into this industrial / hyperpop / techno chimera with vampire-club vibes. Genre-wise, I still can’t give you a neat label… which is kind of the point. I didn’t write this to fit. I wrote it to tell the truth with a strobe light on.

This is public now. This is Version 1: the first official version I’m putting my name on out in the open. Not “final forever,” but the first one that feels like a real creature.

It’s very DIY: I wrote the lyrics, I’m on the mic, and most of the bass/synth work was played on a tiny MPK Mini instead of drawn with a mouse. Vocals are in full Frankenstein mode—layers, distortion, weird processing—because “pretty and polished” wasn’t the brief. The brief was: confession + club. Soft skin + sharp edges.

Sonically, I built it around the kick and the low-end movement, with energy swings that are meant to feel like mood swings: the quiet pull-in, the first slam, the sudden drops, the slow crawl to the end. I tried to keep it punchy and breathing rather than brickwalled—so you can actually feel the tension changing shape.

If you want to help me sharpen what this becomes next, tell me what you hear:
– Does the vibe land?
– Do you feel that tension between “nice ordered life” and “rockstar chaos”?
– Do the vocals feel believable where they sit right now (or do they pull you out)?
