‘Home Is Everywhere and Nowhere at Once’ is Naarm/Melbourne-based Takeo.K’s debut album, a blending of experimental textures and dream pop vocals which weave through English and Japanese. 

Released via Gadigal Land/Sydney-based label Theory Therapy, the LP is not the first time Takeo.K has find themselves on the imprint, releasing 'Solder Flower' featuring Nadia Hannan on its compilation ‘Out of Season Vol.3.’  in 2024.

'Same Grey' premiered here, is, in the words of writer Lilly Grainger, "the record's busiest track, packed with scattered drums and improvised saxophone from collaborator Izzy Cocks."

In Takeo.K's own words:

"The song for me sits with what remains after things are declared ‘over.’ It’s less about the event itself and more about the aftermath, the absurdity of calling something finished when it never really ends, and when it shouldn’t have begun in the first place. and how the effects linger inside people and across generations."

‘Home Is Everywhere and Nowhere at Once’ releases via Theory Therapy's Bandcamp and in a limited series of CDs this Friday, January 30.
