Left Ground Music stands outside the boundaries of genres and scenes.
We are neither part of the mainstream nor the underground—we exist in the “left ground”, a space where sound refuses to conform.

From electronica, dub, and ambient to post-rock textures, our releases carve out soundscapes that demand attention, not background listening.
Born in Japan, our music captures the collision of urban noise and natural silence, offering listeners a sonic experience that feels both familiar and alien.

This is music for those who walk the edges of reality.

I am a live-in caregiver for a disabled person and make  sounds between  work.  I live in a forest near a swamp  in Washington State USA

Seriously people, if you need a pic of a cat as artwork and you use AI, you must be I dunno what, the internet was invented for cat videos and pics, hello?! Grab a box of crayons and draw your own stuff or just steal other people's pics, even that's more justified than killing the f.ckin' planet for pictures of animals with five legs, for Pete's sake!

Zoltán Györei (actual Hungarian name, not a made-up one) aka FaceOnFigure is the kind of artist who would never, ever write about himself in his bio in the third person. He's simply not that kind of dude. He thinks it's almost as pretentious and annoying as his own attempts at humour.
He thinks his music is alright and worth sharing but he very generously lets you be the judge of that.
He also thinks that given how much energy and water AI data centers consume, using AI generated artwork unnecessarily leads to serious, otherwise avoidable environmental harm.
Zoltán appreciates feedback and asks you to leave comments.

Independent electronic ambient artist, crafting immersive soundscapes that blend atmosphere with deep exploration of texture and tone. My compositions are shaped by the active imagination described by C. G. Jung and the vivid landscapes of my dreams, translating emotions into evolving auditory experiences.
Influenced by ambient minimalism and deep bass tweaking with VCF filters, my music layers rich harmonics, resonant frequencies, and fluid transitions to create enveloping and transportive journeys.
