He hails from the northern region of Portugal, but he grew up and was raised in Lisbon, embracing the influence of diverse cultures. Currently based in Sofia, with summers spent in Malta, he aims to share his rhythms and music across borders.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

It all began when I discovered electronic beats for the first time, thanks to my music-loving father who used to work at a radio station. That experience was the key that sparked my passion for music and awakened my love for it. Tiago André Caetano, a.k.a. Caitas, is the incorporation of colonial beats beautifully blends Lusophone culture, infusing African, Portuguese, and Brazilian rhythms with sheer brilliance.. Caitas’ artistic expression stands as a powerful reminder of the indomitable human spirit, surmounting adversity through his infectious energy and futuristic electronic soundscapes. Essentially, his music serves as an ode to life itself, uniting captivating beats and irresistible rhythms that traverse cultural barriers and motivate everyone to embrace their own liberty.

- Where were you born and raised?

Born in Canada, raised in Sofia, moved around a few times, my mom always says that my heart was left somewhere at an airport. Currently residing in sunny Portugal for obvious reasons.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

I went through all electronic music phases - from going to drum and bass parties at 15, through minimal and hard techno raves. Then a few years ago I ditched that for a bit and went fully analogue rediscovering long forgotten disco classics.

These days I am definitely a sucker for cheeky old-school electro sounds and everything that vaguely reminds us disco: those warpy early 90s acid drum kicks, over the top pianos and vocals hidden under sexy house beats, as well as slow and filthy reverbs.

For me DJing started off as a drunk birthday gift to myself in the form of a tiny controller with like 4 knobs in total playing questionable disco bangers at friends’ birthdays to now DJing at some cute clubs and rooftops in Lisbon.

- What can we expect from your mix?

A melodic and somewhat eclectic mix inspired by european electro & balearic dance intertwined with some floaty silky house

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

Through dance and later through guitar playing, music has always been a decent part of my life journey. 
When I started learning guitar I got very interested in the theory behind music. I was very excited to 
explore how all these notes relate to each other. I started recording small snippets and combining them 
all together. Later on I realised that music is way more than just acoustic. Electronic music has very 
rich history and a lot of people have done tons of work to create a new musical instrument that you can "pl
ay" 
and that is the computer. The way you can shape sound and the precision that you can achieve is what m
akes 
me feel respected when listening to talented producers and DJ’s.

I started engaging with music at an early age, as my father is a drummer. I attended a music school, where I learned to play the classical guitar and p
ercussion instruments. Later on, I also began dancing hip-hop and breakdancing. I have always been in s
earch of rhythm, whether it’s on the school desk or the lid of a Moskvich car. Subsequently, I entered the 
National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, where we also had singing lessons. Classical music helped s
hape my musical taste, which is why I chosed the name Blathoven.

- What can we expect from your mix?

In my mix you can expect tracks that are rich in harmonics, interesting and emotional chord progressions, 
 
both melancholic and uplifting, and of course - Vocals. I prefer low tempo and high emotions.

- Where were you born and raised?

I was born in 1989, raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. I grew up in a family of two architects, but along with my two older sisters, we were involved in the world of music very early - as kids we were singing in a Children’s choir of the Bulgarian National Radio and then the three of  us graduated with master’s degree in classical singing at the National Academy of Music in Sofia. Nowadays, we are all working as an opera singers here in Bulgaria.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

As I said, my music journey started since early childhood - I went through singing in a choir, then studiyng classical singing, then choosing the classical singing and the opera as my vocation, my job. When I was 20, I started to play music in clubs, as a hobby. I started with playing 80s music - new wave, synthpop. I think, exactly bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order, Soft Cell, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Pet Shop Boys, Cocteau Twins, artists like David Bowie, shaped my music taste and guided me through the years of dj-ing and experimenting with the music genres in my mixes. I would describe my music style today as electro pop/indie dance, nu-disco, dark disco…

- What can we expect from your mix?

Actually the set is a compilation of one of my favourite tracks to dance to, and also one of the favourites to play in a club, at a party. Artists that I always look up to such as Miss Kittin, Art Department, Solomun, Fatima Yamaha, Manfredas. Also I included some very nice modern remixes of two of my favourite 80’s bands - Soft Cell and Chemical Brothers, since I am such a huge fan of the 80’s electronic sound - synthpop, new wave, technopop.

- Where were you born and raised?

I was born in north-east of Bohemia where I spent my whole childhood, after I graduated I moved to Prague to study and enhance my musical journey. This is the time when I first came in touch with electronic music and especially fell in love with trippy techno.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

My first experience was a warehouse rave with DVS1 and after this immersive experience I decided to start DJing and I created my moniker: Axis Alpha. It can be described as a guide through alpha states of mind that one reaches when listening to trippy music. This approach secured me bookings basically in every relatable club or space in Prague and thanks to that I met my second family of like-minded friends and created Weltraum collective together. Recently I got into producing too and hope I will be able to put something out in the future.

- What can we expect from your mix?

In this mix Ive taken slightly different approach and created trippy, 1 hour long session in different style than my usual 4/4 techno. You can expect rise of energy that drops in the middle of the journey only to be recreated again in an immersive finale. Enjoy :)

Where were you born and raised?

- Hopeless music lover. Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

- The first genre I started listening to seriously was Metal. My sister, which is 10 years older than me had these pirated CDs and cassette tapes with bands like Korn, System of a down, Slipknot and many more. Few years after that in highschool I found Drum and bass and that's when I fell in love with electronic music and it's energy. From then on I started digging and slowly found other electronic genres like Techno. After years of listening to harder electronic music I started liking more mellow stuff. I found a big collection of vinyl with classical music and jazz and started listening to all kinds of different non-electronic genres. But that for sure didn't stop me from liking electronic music. I started to look for chiller things in it too and that's how I got to this point where House is maybe my favourite electronic music.

- What can we expect from your mix?

My mix is a blend from my House and Electro vinyl finds in the recent year.

- My name is Martin Dimitrov. I am 33 years old and I was born and raised in the city of Pleven, Bulgaria. I am currently based in Sofia.

Describe your music journey with a few statements. How did everything start, and how did you end up in electronic music? Which factors shaped your music taste?

- When I was 16 years old, I experienced my first dopamine rush from music at an electronic music party in my hometown of Pleven. Since that moment, electronic music has played a significant role in my everyday life. As the years have passed, the sound I love to listen to nowadays is more about groovy party tracks mixed with breakbeats and the sounds of the '90s.

What can we expect from your mix?

- For me, a good party is when everybody dances and smiles, so prepare yourself to get sweaty!

I grew up listening to rock and metal music because of my dad. Naturally, I started playing the drums when I was 14 years old and later joined a band that lasted around 8 years. Meanwhile, I discovered rap and electronic music and got into DJing and producing as a way to express my taste more directly.

- What can we expect from your mix?

In this mix, expect to hear mainly disco-oriented sounds with some synthpop, new beat, EBM, and house influences.

Where were you born and raised?

- I was born and raised in the parisian subburbs before moving to a middle city : Dijon where I spent most of my teenagers years.

Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

- My music journey started in Barcelona where I used to live then I got mezmerised by a few artists like four tets or rone which led me to dig into electronic music a little more. I started with a very special love for downtempo music ; I loved the energy it brought to a dancefloor . I played this music for a lot of years as a DJ but its been a while I wanna try something a bit different from what Im used to play . Something faster but keeping some special downtempo recipes.

What can we expect from your mix?

- In my mix you will find a lot of slowed down tracks even if I play at a faster BPM I love playing with the bpms to make a new track from already existing one, I try to keep an open eye to different genre of music. I cant stick to only one genre or after a few days I would get bored of this genre. I need to keep my ear fresh all the time so switching from a genre to another helps in the process.

- I’m born and raised in Stara Zagora, but in the past 10 years I’ve lived in Sofia and Amsterdam. Currently I’m living in Thailand so I will finally enjoy a warm winter.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

My interest in electronic music was sparked early in my childhood. I remember listening to a radio when they played a trance classic by PPK called Resurrection. My taste changed several times throughout the years from trance through house to tech-house and techno. Biggest influence on me through the stages were artists like Marco Carola, Joris Voorn and Apollonia.

- What can we expect from your mix?

I like a lot of different genres, so this is what you are going to hear from me today. Simply described it’s a mix of minimal, garage, old-school house and tech-house and of course some breakbeats.

- Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Sofia, raised between Bulgaria and Italy . I’m the eldest of three children. My father works in the hotel industry so the whole family has been living more on planes than on ground. I finished high school in Sofia and was scouted as a model when I was 17, and was sent almost right away to work in Italy, Asia, Middle East and Mexico. In 2016 I ended up in ibiza for three weeks, but remained enchanted and stayed the whole season. Haven’t missed a season since then, ending my modelling career definitively in 2020 to pursue music only.


 - Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

It all started in Ibiza, when I ended up at Tale of us’s party Afterlife in 2016. Back then it was held in the legendary Space Club and it was not the audio visual show as we know it today. The atmosphere was much more intimate in my opinion, and you could really listen to new music every week, discover new acts and feelings during the party. I walked in Afterlife the first time and felt electrocuted. I ended up crying from emotions all night long, and somethings in me switched that day - I decided I want to do that. I had no idea how , I just knew that’s what I wanted. Eventually stayed the whole season and got to meet a lot of my favourite artists. And somehow I gained their respect. Everybody told me that I have a strong year and great taste and that I should learn to dj.
I didn’t really take it seriously what I was being told, but eventually after a lot of persuasion from different people I decided to buy a computer and learn how to play. The rest is history. I’m self taught, which is not common for this industry, most artists have had great musical influence in their childhood - I didn’t have any coming specifically from my family - I’m the first musician in it. But they accepted it and supported me in my dreams, so I’m very lucky about that. 
The biggest factor that shapes my music is emotions and specifically melancholy. I’m obsessed and I find a safe zone in it, I feel home in melancholy. And I just express the gratitude for this safe space through my music. It takes me far away and I just hope it does the same for others when I play.

- What can we expect from your mix?

I will start nice and slow and will gradually progress to a more percussive and dark vibe. Melancholy all the way in. That does not mean sad! It means a perfect musical trip adequately matching outside’s weather. Something you can play for an extra motivation while you’re driving your car or doing some chores at home while raindrops fall on your window. Overall I think you’ll like it :)
