One of the killer vocal cuts from the Opolopo album, “Candy Coated Perfection” feat. Sacha Williamson gets a stunning revamp from Dave Pezzner. 

There is so much supposedly "deep" house out there at the moment but we feel these remixes really deserve the description. The way he combines the full song with a warm techy bass heavy track works beautifully. 

Also included are 2 more dubwise mixes, an extended mix from Opolopo himself and DeejayKul's rework of "The Best" feat. Colonel Red.

PREMIERE: D'Arabia - Bate Cros. [Red Rooster Records]

We ran into our good friend Sammy Bananas at the local pharmacy, he was wearing a red velvet robe and a saxophone raiding the cosmetic section for heatable oils. 

We happened to have a copy of Catalano on us and handed it to him...upon contact we saw reality melt away, the brick and mortar transformed into a foggy stage, grocery carts replaced by speakeasy librarians riding miniature horses. The ground swirled around us and we all started to rise, slowly ascending into beams of purple to bounce of the giant disco ball in the sky, waking up on the sidewalk nearby with nothing but smiles and foggy recollections we discovered Night Braces had been reborn.

Moving Light (Salty Dub) [feat. Lisa Shaw]

Born and raised in Austin, TX, Chris Cortinas aka Off Da Clock is known for his signature sound of funky house grooves. With musical influences from Pink Floyd, The Police, Depeche Mode, Chic, Shalamar to the more recent sounds of Duck Sauce, J Paul Getto, Dj Dan, Bad Boy Bill, and Angelo Ferreri, it's undeniable what type of party you can expect. As a padawan under producer and sound maestro Francis Preve, his crafty production has led him to release with such prominent labels such as Australia's Bobbin Head Music, Dj Dan's Instereo Recordings, and EDX and Nora En Pure's home label Enormous Tunes. 

His 2020 release Where's The Love on Husky's Bobbin Head Music label spent several weeks in the Traxsource top 10 House chart and gained support from the likes of heavy house hitters Jarred Gallo, Sebb Junior, Husky, Samo, and Random Soul to name a few. The release went on to become one of Traxsource's top 200 of 2020 House releases.   

Off Da Clock can also be found as 1/2 the funk duo Late Night Hustle and 1/3 the trio Funkstruk.
