Storming his way back onto Drumcode Luigi Madonna closes off the Summer with a four track smasher that will see him welcome in Autumn with a bang. Each track contains the solid, raw drums that are the backbone to each track Luigi has conjured up. With a brooding undertone, the simplicity found in each track gives the lead lines and ideas more space to breath, which overall creates a unique and charismatic submission that can only be found from the Italian.

In December 2009, Gem Records was born when it released GEM001 ‘Egbert – Dezelfde Weg’. Nine years later, Egbert graces the label with its 60th release.  

Fractals EP is a double A-side with ‘Fractals’ representing Egbert’s pumping dancefloor techno and ‘Zachtaardig’ his signature melodic sound. With Gem Records set to release EPs by  Ramon Tapia, SQL, Stefan Weise and DJ Lion over the next few months, these are heady times for a label that continues to be rewarded for its consistent and innovative approach to contemporary electronic music.

Its been almost 7 years since Ramiro Lopez had a productions released on Noir Music. Since then he has evolved a lot as an artist and producer.

We have missed him on the label and extremely happy to announce his return with the excellent 2-tracker.

People that follow me knows I have been supporting Ramiros music a lot and even his label Odd Recordings stands out as one of the best techno labels the past couple of years in my ears. I love the minimal yet hard-hitting approach coming from Ramiro and this release is a great example of that sound.

On Your Face is build around the powerful vocals done by talented Juliet Fox and once again Ramiro proves the less is more still holds up in modern techno today. The hardhitting beats and simple synth-lines compliments the vocal to perfection and makes Juliets vocals stand out in the center of the production.
