Biography of Mpumelelo Thomas Saza aka “Double TS”
Mpumelelo Thomas Saza was born on 02 September 1988 in Mamelodi. He is also known as Double TS and a South African recording artist and a videographer. His debut EP was Fruit Punch Vol 1 and released in July 2010. He is an independent artist who owns a Media Company called Street Corner Visuals, which was founded on 03 August 2013.

Early Life

Double TS grew up in Mamelodi in Pretoria, the capital city of South Africa. He attended High School at Ratshepo High School. In School he was into athletics as he partook in various sporting codes, including soccer and marathon. He started rapping when he was in Grade 9 at age 16. He got his inspiration from a group called Skwatta Kamp. He now resides in Hammanskraal, the North of Pretoria. 

Music Career: 2004-2010 (Early Beginning)

In 2004 he used to attend street cyphers and battles. He got introduced to a recording studio in 2008. He was featured by a friend and a business partner, Thusegile Tladi AKA Mr Chem. By 2009 he started working on an EP titled Fruit Punch vol.1which was released in 2010 the very same year he joined Sweat Drop Entertainment and was featured in their first documentary and a mixtape called Sweat Expression Sessions.

2012

Double TS released a mixtape called Fruit Punch Vol1 reloaded under Sweat Drop Entertainment and it was well received by the masses. The First Single (Going in ft Buso of Ink) reached number one in a couple of local radio stations. The second single EXX Girlfriend also reached number one

2013

His two tracks from his upcoming mixtape fruit punch vol2 were played on Yfm hiphop hot 99, Get Down was played as a bubbling under, and Caught Me featuring Odyccy was played on versus Thando thabethe’s show, to which he got a telephonical interview.

2014

He released a 20 track mixtape Prelude to vol 2. It was also well received. By 25 January he released a music video of his single called Get Down under his production, Street Corner Visuals.
