The Djoon Experience is the proof that DJOON is more than just a club but a global landmark in the world of dance music. As a venue, Djoon draws in music lovers from all four corners of the world. As a party it has graced some of the best clubs in cosmopolitans cities such as Lisbon, Athens, Rome, and this time around it returns back to Amsterdam for it's 4th installment at the Amsterdam Dance Event .

On Friday October 17th, as part of the 2014 Amsterdam Dance Event, The Djoon Experience will take place in the chapel of the renowned Hotel Arena. This event will be hosted and brought to you by Hollands leading Afro Event, L'AFRIQUE and the Artist & Concept Collective from the USA, WEGOAO. On that night they will bring the best of Africa and Europe under one roof.

SAMAZANGA [AfroHouse 2015] - FOLLOW ME FOR MORE PRODUCTIONS!!

If there was ever a waited-on collaboration in the African Electronic Music sphere it’s this one. In the one corner we have Kaysha, the Kinshasa-born Zouk titan who relocated to France and eventually to Portugal where he is based. In the other sits Boddhi Satva whose storied upbringing also took him from Central Africa to his adult life in Europe. Both share a unique worldly outlook that affords them a unique profile of supporters between them from places as far afield as the Middle East to the Caribbean.

Both producers have circled each other in the many years spent cultivating a musical relationship.

And now that the time is right, the two reward their fan bases’ collective anticipation on Boddhi’s new album Transition with the song Mama Kosa. It’s a truly special occasion that warrants another first: Kaysha takes to the booth singing in his native tongue Lingala – something he has never done before.

From early in his career Kaysha learned how to seamlessly switch from genre to genre so conveying the ancestral message to a whole new audience will be effortless. A little closer to home, Martin Atjazz jumps on board to contribute a remix to Mama Kosa sure to delight fans of the luminary House DJ/producer, and of good music across the board.

Ché La Seye + Coda Deep, two synth- obsessed producers join forces for 'Enchanted Forest', a slick and atmospheric Techno/House hybrid. A brand new studio and live project by respected London DJ (and BBE family member) Bijan, Coda Deep is an outlet for the his more tribal, progressive, avant-garde work. Ché La Seye is a shadowy and elusive London-based electronic music producer and songwriter with some seriously heavyweight dance tracks under his belt, but sadly we're not allowed to tell you any more than that...
Clean production and expansive sonic vistas characterise 'Enchanted Forest', calling to mind the type of deep, progressive techno sound championed by Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. among others. Venezuelan DJ / producer Dave Delgado aka Diegho supplies a techy, tribal remix of Enchanted Forest, somewhat reminiscent of the new- school afro sound of Culoe De Song.
To complete the package, Coda Deep cleverly combines Enchanted Forest with the Roy Ayers timeless classic ‘Tarzan’ (best known to house music fans from Osunlade’s 2005 remix), creating a compelling juxtaposition between old and new; electronic and analogue.

In 2014, an anonymous individual capably managed to leave an unforgettable footprint in the sound systems of many international clubs with his debut release ‘Sleepless Nights’. DM.Recordings are very excited to announce the return of Corinda with ‘The Chase’ featuring the proficient wordsmith Lebo. 

'The Chase’ demonstrates the soulful side to Corinda through a slick display of the transcending expressive synths used to underline the hip-moving drums - composed alongside the spoken word of Lebo who tells the story to which many relate in the chase of something wanted so much. Alongside Corinda, we have Rudo Deep step up on production and give his very own interpretation of this chase that elevates all elements of afro-tech. This package is polished off with a heart-felt remix from the late Eddhi Cheq who really has gripped listeners with his Heartistic dub version and remix that has an ambient tone which focuses on the atmosphere created around this track. 

This EP will have you revisit the chasing feeling you had in 2014 when you were left wanting more - this is Corinda.

Here we have a powerful collaboration by two well known names that have contributed to the afro-house scene immensely individually and have joined forces to create an afro-house banger. DJ Alpha known from Kazukuta Records and Spiluku aka G'Sparks who has released many hit songs, provide us this dance floor anthem 'Mapi Mu Mashikiyo' which is sure to cause a stir on dance floors across the globe. 

About DJ Alpha: 

Alpha has shown love and passion for the music from an early age. While as a teenager, Hip Hop and Techno were his day by day consumption, until he met Djeff Afrozila whom gave Alpha an introduction to the House genre....This was the turn on his life! 

As an artist, Alpha has shared the stage with names like Djeff Afrozila, Black Coffee, Manoo, and others. Besides playing in his home country Portugal, he has already had the privilege to play in England and Angola.

Nowadays, he’s dedicating himself to DJing and music production as well as managing Kazukuta Records alongside Djeff Afrozila, where he is responsible for mastering the label releases.

About Spilulu:

Originally from Lubumbashi / Katanga Democratic Republic of Congo, Spilulu , is famous for being a Hip-Hop, R&B and House beat maker.

In 2009 Mzilikazi Wa Afrika was looking for up and coming House producers found G’Sparks and Signed him to Bomba Record. After signing with Bomba Records Mzee turned G’Sparks as a Hip-Hop and R&b producer to a “Tribal-House beat Monster” and features him in his album Tamanini in wich G’Sparks produced 4 titles “Shukuma ft Phumeza Dlwati, Leo ndjo leo ft Alex Mutombo, Bushbuckridge Anthem and Laphindi E shangane” they formed The A-Team alongside Jaso Moke, Silly M, Sbonza, Morra Derey, Willie and Godheaven.” Their first appearance in Mzee’s video zvinosiririsa” wich was released in 2009 by Soulcandi records.

Spilulu produced Mukubwa, released by Offering Recordings, an intense afro rhythm track that has been supported by big names in the Industry such as Louie Vega, Black Coffee, Jerome Sydenham to name a few.. Quickly in the center of attention he multiplied the releases on other labels such as Arrecha, Nulu Records, Bomba, Peng Africa, and more.

Spill is the future of what the heart and center of Africa, the Congo is heading towards musically.
