In a year marked by racist remarks in both sides of the ocean, we have to reflect on the treatment that the black community gets from institutions and people that should be more concerned in protecting it than in marginalizing it. Rimas e Batidas and Raptilário want to do more. So, we release "Labanta Braço", a solidary compilation created by black artists related to Portugal that we challenged and that joined us in this venture. For Bruno Candé Marques. For George Floyd. For all the victims of racism and social oppression. For change. "Labanta Braço". 

This is the soundtrack of a social revolution, an unanimous shout for equality — even though we find here artists from all sorts of genres, ages and backgrounds. 

To start off with, the compilation promoted by Rimas e Batidas and Raptilário is exclusively available on Bandcamp. We ask for everyone's contribution — you can make your donation (the minimum is €1) and buy the digital version. All revenue will be donated to the SOS Racismo, the main association that deals with racism problems in Portugal. Secondly, we will challenge several brands to match the value of revenue that we raise. The revenue of this matching campaign will be split between the artists and the chosen NGO. We trust your support to help us through this struggle that we all must fight.
