Offering Recordings presents “KITENDI” by Boddhi Satva & Badi 

DJ Boddhi Satva and rap artist Badi have known each other for over 10 years. Following their first collaboration released through BBE Music (London) last year, Offering Recordings now proudly presents the “KITENDI” EP featuring 2 songs: Kitendi and Visa.

Kitendi is Lingala slang (a Congolese language) for “clothes”. Initiated by Congolese artist Stervos Niarcos, the word turned into a sartorial movement "Société des Ambianceurs et des personnes Élégantes" also known as “La SAPE”.

KITENDI is a philosophy with elegance at its core. Often misrepresented or caricatured, through this collaboration, Boddhi Satva and Badi musically revisit as well as redefine “Sapology”.

With the same witty approach the other song "VISA" touches upon the narrative and struggles of those leaving Africa for the West in hope of a better future. 

KITENDI is an exclusive EP raising social awareness with groove and style.

Boddhi and Badi have known each other for more than 10 years and after their first collaboration last year released on BBE Music (London). Now Offering Recordings is proud to present the Kitendi EP. The release consist of two songs, Kitendi and Visa.
KITENDI is Lingala slang (a Congolese language) word for cloths.  A word that turned into a movement initiated by Stervos Niarcos, and most known as "Societe des Ambianceurs et des personnes Élégantes" KITENDI. A philosophy that has at its chore the values of Absolute Elegance. As much as the song is approaching the theme from a humorous perspective, Both artists are serious about their style and felt like it was time to give a different perspective to the word "Sapeur". 

Using the same humorous approach "Visa" touches upon the sad topic of those whom more other than not seek refuge in the western world with hopes of a better future. A dream archly broken by the refugees camps of the island of Lampedusa in Italy.

KITENDI is one of those EP's that will surely find a place of choice in your playlist either at home or in a club
