finally! i've uploaded something!

here's a song i did recently with zcmtk for the sunvox megacollab 2, you can check that out here: https://warmplace.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6140. basically, we were randomly gathered into groups of two to make music!

it was really fun making a track with someone else in the span of two weeks (though i imagine this song only took about 20 person-hours of work). zyn is great with melodies, and i think that shows in this track. it was also great for me, because i got to put into practice some techniques i've been developing over the past six months, covering composition, sound design, and mixing

this is a remix of "hedgie thing" by @ok-cheez-96 that i made in june of 2022. it was supposed to be for a remix album of that and another song, but cheez cancelled it T-T

so, i figured i'd put it here. i really wish i could have uploaded more this year, but i've been working on a bunch of musical projects and i want them to be properly finished before i put them up anywhere. i really should learn to be more productive. plus, i've been in university for the past semester and i've been busy with that, so i guess i never had much time anyway

btw mentally i'm feeling pretty good, i just haven't had much time (or skill) to put out many tracks. but, if you're a member of the sunvox music discord server, you can hear my wips! so maybe check that out?

Upon first attempt to upload this track it was claimed by feeble soundcloud's algorithm(or malevolent entity of other kind) as a different track. Fascinating, isn't it? An attempt to claim it back could result in dealing with american/german court, which is honestly a bit too much. Never have thought my own creations would be claimed by soulless machine to be not mine. Yay technology! What a time to be alive!
