Soul Pistola is a 5-piece band whose genre-bending sound combines elements of r&b, funk, Latin-rock, indie and jazz.
The band started only a few months ago, once frontman Sebastian Reyes safely returned to the US from Ecuador, where he had gone missing for the better part of a year after being kidnapped. 
With Reyes’ new lease on life, and along with Denz Daddy (guitar), Doug Steele (bass), Truth (drums), and Sweetbutta (keys), the Philadelphia quintet has been working hard throughout quarantine, set to drop their first single “Missin’ U” in October 2020, and an EP in early 2021.
