Been feeling kinda burnt out from making music for the last few months. So I decided to impulsively upload this old Demo from 2022 just as it is! It's nowhere near perfect and honestly, that's fine.

When I was making this track back in 2022/early 2023, I was in a weird place. I had just finished school and was working my first job, which I later came to hate (long story, working at a better office now with people that actually appreciate me lol). During that time I was going through a lot of emotions that I haven't experienced before and that was kinda scary. One day I got home from said workplace, absolutely fuming and pretty much put all of those emotions into this track. It may not be perfect, but so are our emotions and I feel like this track really captures the ones I was feeling at that time.

Just raw, pure & imperfect emotions. Enjoy :)

As we wander through the vastness, I can't help but stop and think about how we ended up on this ship: three different lifeforms with intertwined futures and cursed pasts...
Do we ever truly live in the present?
It's as if there's no present in zero gravity—only a transition toward the next mission.

I look at Broel and Kira, finding minuscule moments where they ignore the railgun wounds from yesterday’s battle like it’s nothing.
Our enemy is far better equipped; we’re always outnumbered. Yet somehow, our fate follows our ammo.
It’s the fate of people like us, who’ve lost everything, to prevent others from losing their hearts...as for our hearts...
some hearts are doomed from the start...

With Kira and Broel, Zan was becoming something much greater than he had ever envisioned. But he never lost sight of what made him this way: the memories he carried from Earth’s doomed cities.
Perhaps a doomed heart is all it takes to become a warrior.
