Mikes Roddy (real name: Michael Siviglia)is a UK Rapper from Camden, North London. Mikes quickly built a reputation for his street poetry approach to rapping. Mikes started listening to instrumentals and saw music as a mechanism to dialogue his circumstances.

 

Mikes’s passion for music soon started to develop and he began to put his life in between the lines and pen to paper. Dedicating time to writing his rhymes became Mike’s craft, whilst also grafting in the studio. Mikes released ‘Get it’, which was then soon followed up by ‘Can I Live’.  Mikes’s Youtube views grew by the day and he was soon contacted by SBTV to feature in a Warm Up Session.

 

Mikes reputation and popularity grew rapidly with him gaining respect and authenticity nationally. Since then Mikes has released ‘Getting Waved’, ‘Will It Ever Happen’ and ‘In the Wrong Place’. Mikes has also been putting in work up and down the country by performing at Club Bond, Purple Turtle and Brixton Jamand alot more venues up and down the country!

 

Mikes’s intrinsic creative prowess combined with desire and fortitude sets him apart from many. He is currently hard at work in the studio and sculpting his long awaited first mix tape ‘Motorway Trips’. Having been a recipient of life’s struggle, Mike’s experiences put him in good stead to achieve the notion ‘Hunger, Graft, Success’.
