This year RETRO returned to its spiritual Halifax home, Platform (formerly The Tube). After 2 successful events in the run up to Christmas it only felt right to take on a December date. As you all know Tall Trees used to be a massive event with people travelling far & wide to follow the RETRO phenomenon. This will be THE ONLY New Years Eve event RETRO will be taking on right where it belongs, at its birthplace… Platform.

After being at the forefront of the Leeds club scene for over 4 years and holding residencies in just about every major City across Yorkshire, the rest of the North & Ibiza… It’s time to come out of retirement! We took a 7 month break from our last event at the Warehouse, Leeds. We couldn’t help but feel that club land was changing and recently its all about the big ’one off’ events & outdoor festivals, rather than weekly or monthly ties.

We want to take HECTIK in a new direction & bring some unforgettable, unrivalled parties like we all know and love. This is the first ’Big’ event on our new path… With the biggest beats and unbelievable party atmosphere come and be a part of what everyone else is talking about. The one and only HECTIK… IT’S GOING OFF!

About a year ago I launched my label IPSO. First release was a collab with Michael Mayer. We made Dogma 1 and 2, and the tracks have been in heavy rotation ever since. I remember a magical morning at Panorama Bar where we played Dogma 1. It was one of those moments we all live for, where everything fell in place. Magical.

Heatwave Fridays Has to be altered Slightly- Apparently the law prevented unlimited drinks 5 months ago and u have to charge something for ur drinks even if its £00.01. KMT. 

(The officer looked like he wanted to slap me when I said its my drinks to give away free if a want lol. Hahah )=D =)) 

So since I think 1p a drink is crap. Counting out 99p change, each time u come to the bar don't cut it. 

So Heatwave Fridays to be changed as follows £8.00 Entry &10p Drinks. ;-SHH >=) >=).
