Described by The Times as "having echoes of vintage Blondie" and Star Magazine as "the UK's answer to the Scissor Sisters", Brighton four-piece Kovak were one of the first ever unsigned acts to be play listed by BBC Radio 2 with stand alone single Killer Boots. Follow up single Radiate was spun by supporter & legendary DJ Steve Wright.

The band have recently reformed after almost ten years and will be releasing brand new single Giving Up Love this summer 2024 along with a single launch party at their old stomping ground The Prince Albert.
