Rebuilding a piece from a lost project file from around 2012. The piano, drums, and parts of the bass come from the bounced MP3, so there are some conflicting notes, tone issues, rough spots going on, but I still really like the core melody. 

The drop sections and extra bass/drum layers sit around the recovered audio - I tried to tame the old drop while keeping the drums punchy with some new elements on top, almost like stacking a fresh drop over the original.

Might rebuild or rearrange later, or learn better repair techniques. Definitely learned a lot through this process, but for now I’m tired of this one haha. Hopefully a few bars are still enjoyable!
