toe, also known as ‘BIGTOE from the 610’ or simply ‘BIGTOE’, is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Philadelphia. He’s been passionate about creating music for as long as he can remember—starting with melodies on an electronic keyboard toy as a kid and later scribbling lyrics instead of notes in high school.

In 2017, he decided to start a SoundCloud account. Alongside his lifelong friend Mitch, he learned the basics of recording, mixing, and mastering. toe’s first songs, released as a freshman in high school, made him the subject of jokes at school, mocking his simplistic style and rudimentary lyrics. But instead of quitting, he used the insults as motivation to improve his craft.

He experimented with everything from hyperpop to indie pop, trap, punk rock, folk, and more, finding his own unique style in the process. In 2023, toe made the transition to mainstream platforms with his demo album Vampire Shawties, which gained over 60,000 streams in its first week. It was a big moment in his journey, one that was probably even more epic than the time he fought a dragon (long story).

toe keeps pushing forward, ready to take on whatever comes next—whether that’s conquering new sounds or battling more dragons along the way.

American hip-hop artist Showkase has held the #1 spot on ReverbNation’s Hip Hop charts in Southwest Arizona since March 2023.
