All Barbadians know the name Richard Stoute and his classic songs from Vehicle to Goodbye my Bajan Girl to Best Part of my day. It came to me one day to ask his blessing to use his sample in one of our projects to which he agreed but it wouldn't come together until 2018 while performing in New York. 
I realized that on using his song as my introduction to the crowd that they were willing to go wherever this 'musical vehicle' was taking them, but how could relate it in song.
The final piece came together from interacting with my cousin Kim Lewars, daughter of my aunt Patsie, how she micro-managed a fairly grueling schedule and laid out her day consisting of commute to the city, her two sons Nick and Noah and having everything prepared for them and her husband Andrew while holding down a full time job.
I placed myself in their shoes as how challenging yet rewarding it would be to greet each other as a family at the day's end...The Best Part.
Produced by the great Ha'san HAT Tull of UGS and Kamar Set Beckles.
Featuring additional vocals by Kamar, HAT and Stefano Chance as well as a wicked Richard Stoute sample, all expertly mixed and engineered by Eliseus Joseph

Enter Rubytech, they say you build a dream by defining the end result you have in mind.
Gifted. 
Tech has always been gifted whether in visual arts, craft and musically inclined . The last son of reknown Barbadian artiste Winston Jordan,  exhibited several talents from childhood and was nutured to express by home environs, family and early schooling within the Montessori system which instilled in him the art of completion .
Family Oriented, 
One listening to Tech's music can feel the family centric element within his words and themes as it was his family that has endeared him to artistic pursuits . From his father's side, there was his granmother Elaine and dad Winston who always supported and encouraged young Winslow to create and go forward , ironically these were the same ones he would later take care of in their final days .
It always felt like when I won I lost at the same time.
Soldier.
Life has been a series of blessings and turmoil for our artist Tech, from being recognized within America's leading urban magazine XXL as one to watch and losing his dad prior to this . Having to put his gran mother in home care just to perform at South By South West because he didnt trust family friends to care for her as he needed her to be . 
Yet today Rubytech pushes forward inspired by his Team UGS, comrades Billy, Supastar, Sunrokk, Aguinaldo, Eliseus , Ramsey,
Shearn, Sheren and his close peer group  .
We began with the end , for that is our destination and the only inevitable step .
