HUGO fusionne les textures électroniques, la liberté du jazz et la
puissance du rock. Ses compositions traduisent toute la palette de ses émotions comme la fureur,
la joie, la mélancolie.
Derrière ce projet, Hugo Juglet choisit de porter son propre prénom pour se représenter le plus
fidèlement possible sur scène. Le saxophone, au cœur de son univers, devient pour lui une manière
de chanter sans paroles, d’exprimer l’essentiel.
Âgé de 26 ans, formé au conservatoire et multi-instrumentiste au service de différents projets
musicaux, Hugo hésite longtemps avant de se livrer pleinement et de composer sa propre musique.
Installé à Caen, il y écrit et enregistre ses titres, et y rencontre Martin et Valentin, qui
l’accompagnent désormais sur scène.
En trio, HUGO offre une performance vivante et énergique, mêlant improvisation et sonorités
novatrices.
Ses influences vont de GoGo Penguin à Tigran Hamasyan, mais aussi Céline Bonacina en passant
par Great Sage, reflétant son goût pour les univers hybrides.
En 2024, il sort son premier EP, Not Academic, une œuvre-manifeste qui brise les frontières
musicales et dévoile ce qu’il gardait depuis longtemps enfoui.
Attaché au partage et à la rencontre, Hugo multiplie les collaborations, notamment avec
Iamverydumb sur le titre Tear a Heart, Break a Bone, sorti en mai 2025.
