That’s why I've decided to give my remix to X-Dream's "Happiness" track, for FREE!
The initial plan was to release it on Beatport and enable download for the usual cost.
I've decided to walk on a different path here – Show my gratitude for the big support and sympathy I'm getting for my music and simply allow a free download of the remix via my soundcloud page
X-Dream made such an iconic track, that created so much happiness in so many people for so many years, and for me, it will be much more suitable if my remix for this track will spread around with a direct inspiration from its title:
We (and we only) create our own happiness!

8. Spanish Gypsy

Until quite recently I lived the Sierra Guadarrama mountains in Spain for several years where I was exposed to a lot of excellent Flamenco music, which is the music of the Gypsies or Romani. 

Being a guitarist myself I couldn't help but get sucked into figuring out how to play this style on guitar. While I was learning, I was struck by the similarity between Flamenco and North African and Indian music and when I analysed it, I found that they share certain musical scales. (interestingly the Romani were originally a nomadic tribe from northen India that travelled to Europe in the12th century) 

Another musical conjunction was the similarity (to me) between the harmony and rhythm of the opening bars of that quintessentially Spanish dance the Pasa Doble and a lot of Trance built on a gallop rhythm. 

So the original inspirational spark began with the possibility of combining all these musical threads into one piece of music. So, I started by creating the melody on a Flamenco scale, over the rhythm of the Pasa Doble with it's semi-tone harmonic movement and mixed that with certain elements of the older Indian influenced Goa-trance sound, but built it all on a foundation of the big kick and bass from the more modern Psytrance sound. 

Later I dusted off the (steel strung) acoustic and recorded some melodic guitar parts using some newly learned Flamenco licks to emphasis the Gitano flavour. 

The track you hear is the result of this weird musical synthesis of Goa, Psy trance, Flamenco and the Pasa Doble.

The original track dropped in 1997 to great acclaim and has long been a favourite of trance fans across the globe. This new remix features key elements of the original with a new vision and stunning production, with high-energy buildups, full-spectrum riffs, and powerful momentum.  


Dance floors around the world have been going off as Tsuyoshi has played the track in his recent sets and the explosions will surely continue with the release of this brilliant new production.

Ofer Dikovsky also known by his stage name Oforia (in Hebrew: אופוריה‎) is an electronic music artist and music producer from Israel and one of Israel's longest standing electronic music artists. He has been active internationally creating the first form of the dominant Israeli electronic sound. Because of his work, he is considered one of the inventors of the genre in Israel. Besides solo career, he was involved in musical projects Indoor, Tandu, Pigs in Space, Phreaky, Solaris, OB1 & Ofer Di.
