Born in Warsaw, Poland but raised in Canada, Marta grew up playing & listening to many genres of music. Doubling as both a DJ/Producer and Singer/Songwriter, Marta dedicates her time between studio work and DJing top venues and high profile events. 

Over the last 10 years, through consistency and tenacity, Marta has built a widely respected following in Southern California and has solidified her position as a leader among today’s female Music Producers & DJ’s. Marta has had the opportunity to play Fashion Week in Paris, New York & LA, as well as playing main stage at Beyond Wonderland & Nocturnal Wonderland, Insomniacs leading EDM festivals. 

Marta holds down residencies at some of the worlds top nightclubs in Los Angeles, including Academy & Exchange and DJ’s exclusive events for Louis Vuitton, Formula 1, Bentley, Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin. She has opened for DJs such as Diplo, David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Salvatore Ganacci, Dillon Francis, Don Diablo, KSHMR, Dada Life, Bingo Players, Alok, Deorro, Bassjackers, and Galantis just to name a few.

Over the years, Marta has entertained a wide variety of high profile clients, including Academy Award winning actors, world famous singers & musicians, and internationally recognized professional athletes. Her clientele also includes Hollywood socialites such as David Beckham, Neve Campbell, Justin Bieber, Reese Witherspoon, The Kardashians, Kaia Gerber and many others.

When Marta isn’t traveling around the world DJing & amplifying crowds, she is either in the studio writing or producing music.

Renowned for her seamless, dynamic mixing and hypnotic flow, False Idoll transforms every set into an immersive journey—pulling the crowd deeper into her world with every unrelenting beat.
With standout performances at Electric Love Festival, Badlands Music Festival (two years running) she continues to solidify her place in the burgeoning North American electronic scene. She’s provided direct support for international heavyweights including Yellow Claw and Sickick. Her remix with Niteshade of John Summit’s “Eat the Bass” on Rock Bottom Records marked a bold step into production. Now, her forthcoming hard techno remix of “No Broke Boys” by Discolines—already gaining traction and support from global artist Darksiderz, with whom she’s currently collaborating—cements her rise as a fierce artist shaping her own dark, magnetic sound.

Shades of Day is a champion of the underground, known for weaving cinematic selections into intriguing musical narratives. Originally from Nebraska, she’s carved her path across iconic clubs in Vancouver and Seattle over the past three years, sharing the stage with Nora En Pure, Cristoph, Hana, Simon Vuarambon, Nils Hoffmann, and HNTR, among others.

While her library spans a wide array of genres, Shades of Day is best known for her signature selections of hypnotic progressive house, groovy melodic techno, and dark dance. Every set guarantees an unforgettable journey through the underground.
