Co-owned by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, groundbreaking independent dance label Hot Creations has gained global notoriety in recent years through pioneering a new and unique sound born of its founders deep affinity with old disco records and soulful beats. 2013 will see the duo take their label to even greater planes upon the major label release of their band Hot Natured’s truly unique debut album and a mile long waiting list of incredible music from incredibly successful talent such as Digitaria, Greg Pidcock, Richy Ahmed, Robert James and wAFF.

Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists. He has carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, Seth is part African-American, with a singular approach to viewing the world through the prism of contemporary music culture.

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in suburban Detroit, Seth learnt the art of DJing initially from his stepfather (then a college radio DJ) and later from working, at only 16, behind the counter in legendary Detroit record store ‘Melodies & Memories’. It wasn’t until Seth made the decision to explore new horizons in the mid-2000s, moving to Berlin fresh out of his teens (after debuting at Panorama Bar at just 18 years old), that his DJ career really took off.

Since the move from Detroit to Berlin, then settling in London for a number of years, and now with his time divided between Ibiza and Berlin (Round 2), Seth has established himself as one of the world biggest DJs (voted the world’s number one DJ in scene bible Resident Advisor and gracing the front cover of Mixmag three times). He’s equally at home playing to the smoke-filled dance floors of some of the world’s most discerning nightclubs, such as CircoLoco, fabric (London), Nordstern (Basel), The Lux (Lisbon) or Blitz (Munich), as he is headlining the world’s largest festivals, like Glastonbury, Movement, Roskilde or Sonar.

Right from the word go, Seth has been as passionate about food and contemporary art as he is about music, and these two interests have resonated at all points, and in parallel, to his music career. A multi-faceted modern artist: he has held residencies at talismanic music institutions, run numerous record labels, and pursued his own solo recording career (including the recent ‘Play In The Dark’ collaboration with the Martinez Brothers on Crosstown Rebels, and ‘Lumartes’ that kick started CircoLoco Recordings in Summer 2021). Furthermore Seth has found the time to launch the successful Smokey Tails’ restaurant in London, to create and host his own party during the Rio Carnival, and then to stop everything and to take the time out to climb Kilimanjaro for charity.

More recently Seth has focussed his creative energies on his ‘Lost Souls of Saturn’ www.lostsoulsofsaturn.com project, alongside Phil Moffa and further opaque participants, that sits firmly at the intersection between futuristic electronica, contemporary art and technology. In 2019 Lost Souls Of Saturn presented their audio/visual installation Transmission at the Saatchi Gallery in London, after its premiere during Art Basel in Switzerland, and collaborated with the Met in New York and the Fondation Beyeler in Basel in 2021. Lost Souls Of Saturn are currently recording their second album and conducting further experiments in augmented reality and virtual reality, which will be revealed soon.

Extremely well travelled, constantly searching and experiencing, Seth Troxler continues to follow his own unique path.

Nic Fanciulli has become one of the most influential artists to come out of the international dance scene in several years. With so many projects constantly in the works, Fanciulli stands out as a truly multitalented worldwide artist, with this perhaps being the key to his longevity in an increasingly fast-paced industry.
 
Fanciulli’s kept up a big Ibiza presence over the years, becoming one of the most respected figures on the island. Following on from two successful years running ‘La Familia’ at infamous 5000 capacity outdoor venue Ushuaia alongside Joris Voorn, 2016 saw Nic embark on his first solo residency at the iconic Pacha. ‘We Are The Night’ saw the likes of Guy Gerber, Sasha, Bicep, Agoria, Matthew Dear and Tiga play at the club alongside Nic. Having conquered Ibiza, We Are The Night has also held parties in Croatia, Barcelona, Miami, New York and Mexico with many more to come. Aside from Nic’s own projects, he’s a regular of all the key parties on the island. He’s been a headline guest at ANTS - Ushuaia’s flagship underground party - since its inception, and also put in appearances at respected residencies Paradise, Guy Gerber’s RUMORS, Circo Loco at DC10 and INSANE at Pacha over the last year alone. Most notably, he played a major part in the last season of one of Ibiza’s best-loved clubs, Space; firstly, playing the closing of its longest-running party, Carl Cox’s Revolution, and then proceeding to make history playing the final set at the club’s last ever closing party, in an incendiary six hour back to back session with Carl himself.

As a producer, Nic has created a plethora of solo tracks that have received huge critical acclaim including a Grammy Nomination, in addition to unleashing a heady collection of memorable remixes, including his recent rework of Jamie xx’s ‘SeeSaw’. Nic is responsible for a high output of a sleek, intelligent yet driving strain of house and techno, and is famed for his compilation CDs, having completed mixes for Renaissance, Global Underground, Balance and Defected In the House as well as an incredible three Essential Mixes; he is now gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated debut album.

Nic’s genuine desire to share music with others led to him founding what’s gone on to be one of the UK’s biggest house and techno labels, Saved Records. An important purveyor of international, underground house and techno, Saved has become a global brand, renowned for cutting-edge releases and standout events around the globe. Responsible for helping to break the careers of a diverse mix of producers, Saved Records has established Nic as a key tastemaker.

It’s this continued desire to share his experiences that also led to Nic starting up his worldwide festival brand, The Social. Beginning life as a way of bringing world-class names to Maidestone, it’s grown not only from a one day event to a three day festival, but will now also be branching out to hold parties in Mexico and Columbia for 2017 and looks set to continue growing.
 
Nic’s journey to his current status has been an entirely organic one, born out of his genuine love for the scene and a desire to share this with others. His tireless work ethic has sees him continue to tour the globe relentlessly and expanding his many projects – 2021 is set to be yet another landmark year for the artist.

Craig’s journey began at art school in the late eighties. Over a six year period he attended Bournemouth school of art, St. Martins School of art and the Royal college of art. 
Artist, record collector, DJ, producer, festival organiser and gentleman of the night - Craig Richards can be described in many ways but most of all he is a storyteller. His ability to bring life, breadth and narrative to everything he does is the secret to his success.
As artist in residence and Musical Director at Fabric for 15 years he was responsible for the modern approach taken to the programming of Saturday nights and as a DJ his unique and uncompromising sound provided a unique identity for the club. His early morning sets at the club were legendary, never the same and always challenging. He is as an originator and a DJ held in high esteem by his peers.
His label THENOTHINGSPECIAL has released music by Schatrax, Calibre, Trevino, dBridge and Mathew Johnson to name but a few. Craig’s paintings and drawings appear on all of the covers. He has an ongoing collaboration with studio genius Howie B. In 2006 they created the soundtrack for the award winning animation Rabbit and released a limited edition boxset of music, poetry and drawings to accompany the project. Craig’s own notable releases to date include “Sleeping Rough’ and ‘My Friend Is Losing His Mind”.
In 2017 an opportunity came about for Craig to curate a new festival in Norfolk. Craig was so impressed by the venue Houghton Hall and the existing sculpture park that he decided it should be an arts and electronic music festival. The first edition of Houghton was a huge success. Craig’s ethos of doing things simply but to the best they can be was a winning formula.
After 3 years of cancellations due to extreme weather and the pandemic, Houghton made a grand comeback this year and with some 230 artists from around the world. This instantly reinstated the significance of Houghton within the underground electronic music scene.
To accompany the festival, Craig illustrated a book of drawings representing every artist who performed at Houghton 2017. The work was exhibited in a disused building opposite the Bank of England. The exhibition was entitled ‘A Show of Heads Inside and Out’. Craig’s paintings, drawings and handwriting are synonymous with the festival.
2018 saw the launch of Craig’s project ‘I Want To Like You But I Find It Difficult’ a three part series of events which took place at the Fondazione Prada in Milan. His curation explored the relationship between juxtaposition and preconception.
In recent years Craig formed a project called Collisions. Again exploring the idea of juxtaposition and contrast within Dj sets, it involves infamous back to back sets with Ben UFO, Ricardo Villalobos, Nicolas Lutz and Ivan Smagghe. It takes place bi monthly at Fabric, at Wonderfruit in Thailand, Love international, The Lion and Lamb and every so often around the globe. His solo DJ sets are varied and highly considered. They continue to inspire and excite in equal measure.
