Being nostalgic for a place you’ve never even been? Step into a warm summer night by the city beach, years ago. Distant Surf is a synthwave track on the softer side—maybe even dreamwave—that blends old-school sounds like the Casio VL-1 for pads and MA101 layered with the classic Linndrum. Field recordings and a fat Reese bass add a modern touch, creating a nostalgic yet fresh journey through time and space.

I was trying to rez this 2 year old project but unfortunately the file was corrupted. :/ It is very sentimental to me though because it was my first time doing vocals. The project is unfinishedl and the processing is trash, but I love the whole ambience and airy sound scapes that this song creates. It feels moody and dirty and imperfect which is what makes it beautiful. <3 Its probably fate I couldn't go back and work on it lol. The original is a beautiful piece and I recommend checking out his new project "Birkham". 

Through writing, of course I couldn't help but think of my amazing wife.
