My EP, “BURN OUT,” is an intimate work consisting of five tracks. Through these songs, I wanted to translate into music the sometimes complex emotions we experience during difficult times.

More than just an expression of discomfort, it is a tribute to the inner strength that drives us. Music is an outlet for me, a way to transform “overflow” into melodies, hope, and movement.

Because even in the shadows, there is always a glimmer of light to grasp. 🎶🔥

Born from the fiery depths of classical piano lessons, Dan, also known as Ohmzone, has forever been inspired by a vast variety of music. Frequently hogging aux cords and denying requests at a young age, he understood the assignment and it was a simple transition when he decided to buy turntables. He promptly made a name for himself in his hometown Medicine Hat, thus, Ohmzone was born. 

Ohmzone's main mission is to keep the dance floor on the edge as he fearlessly explores every genre known to humankind. His style is wild and diverse, ranging from deep dub, experimental, DnB, hip hop, glitch, UKG and occasionally house. No genre is safe and no stone will go unturned. Listeners can expect tempo fluctuating, low end spacey frequencies, and booty quaking vibrations.
