Independent Rapper,Songwriter,Video Editor & Music Producer. MaxiMillian a.k.a M.E.C, born on the 29th of January 1991, is an Australian rapper with an Argentinian heritage; roots which have truly inspired his music. Having an older brother, he grew up with the raw sounds of Tupac, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre, which catalyzed his passion for hip-hop music. At the age of 10, his family moved to Argentina. From a life in Australia where he had the freedom to express himself through his words, clothes and lifestyle, he was now in a world where he had to have eyes at the back of his head. Unable to even wear a chain around his neck or ride his bicycle down the street like he did back "down under", the only way to describe his new paradigm was paranoia. MaxiMillian's life was turned upside down when his mother passed away when he was 14 years old. Living with his older sister and father at the time, it wasn't until the passing of his mother that the true colors of his family came out. His father kicked his sister out of the house, sending her to be on the streets while MaxiMillian was left to stand up on his own for his now defenseless mother who was being criticized by his two-faced family and father. Unable to express his anger and hatred to a family who had turned his back on him, MaxiMillian started putting a pen to paper and writing music. In a situation and country where he had no way of truly expressing himself, music was his outlet and soon became his passion in life. In an extended struggle, at the age of 16, MaxiMillian was finally able to come back to Australia; a country that he now saw from a completely different perspective. It was a land of opportunity and freedom and a place where he could feed his ambitions. Although he was always writing music whenever he had the opportunity, it wasn't until his best friend in school recognized his talents that MaxiMillian got into recording his voice. Realizing that this is what he wanted to do in his life, MaxiMillian began learning to produce his own beats with the help of his best friend, make his own music videos and write more and more tracks. With investment into music equipment, he released his first mixtape, "It's Time" in 2012 which symbolizes his entrance into the hip-hop scene. It was after his first release that he began building networks with incumbents in Australian hip-hop. Inspired and motivated by their advice, 2013 has become a massive year for MaxiMillian. With multiple live performances, new music videos and production of original beats, he created an independent record label, "Raw Mind Entertainment". This label represents his strong stance on being independent in music and being able to express oneself in the most truthful way. 2013 has also seen the final stretch of a long journey in which he has put together his debut album "Memoirs Of A Survivor".
