The second installment in Mixwell's Espíritu series arrives as an anticipated follow-up to the acclaimed "Espíritu de Fuego" EP.
"Espíritu de Tierra'' pays homage to the earth element, drawing inspiration from and paying respects to the rich fertile soils that sustain and ground us. The opening track Enraizado (Rooted) has Mixwell returning to one of his favorite instruments, the Afro-Brazilian berimbau, with it's distinct clangy timbre reminiscent of capoeira music, blended with earth-inspired chants and Native-American flutes - all set over a rich fusion of genres that somehow blends downtempo organic house with elements of dembow, deep dub reggae and trap, culminating into an infectious multi-ethnic 80bpm dancefloor banger. Next comes Linaje (Lineage), picking up the tempo but continuing the exploration of deep organic house beats with hints of dub vibes and traditional instruments from varied cultures, this time incorporating distorted kalimbas and the metallic percussive clinks of the Moroccan Krakeb. And finally, Cíclico (Cyclic) descends into a deeply hypnotic groove with rich wooden Marimba tones and droning chants that evoke a trance-like state.
All tracks were composed and produced by Mixwell in his home studio on Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

We're thrilled to share our brand new release on Circle Of Dreams, titled 'Song Of Night Remixes'.
This beautiful package of remixes has been crafted for the 3rd and final single of 'Song Of Night EP', by the extremely talented singer - ORKA, produced by our label boss Nadav Dagon.
This diverse remix package takes the original into the electronic realms, with three mesmerizing interpretations. The opening remix has been crafted by Drumspyder from the U.S.A on his debut on Circle Of Dreams. Following up next we have the pleasure of having back the Spanish producer ÜNAM on our label, with his colourful and uplifting remix, which takes the original straight into the heart of a colourful dance floor. Last but not least, we have the pleasure of welcoming the Argentinian producer El Remolón on his debut on our label. ENJOY!

About this EP :

Amálgama is Birdzzie's most recent work, developed and hatched even during the Pandemic, as a reflection of the influences that have come to inspire him in recent years, with the pulsating African and Brazilian music scene in Lisbon, through its rhythms and flavors.

Respectfully in the form of a humble tribute, he decided to release these 3 tracks that came out in a cascade and at once, which constitute a profound flight between Europe, South America and Africa. Who better to symbolize this good amalgam than some of the migratory birds, such as Cagarra, Abelharuco and Milhafre, which during their lives exist, each in its own way, between these 3 continents?

3 original tracks and 3 remixes by Kurup, Ohxala and Yule.

Amálgama é o mais recente trabalho de Birdzzie, desenvolvido e chocado ainda durante a Pandemia, como reflexo das influências que o vieram a inspirar nos últimos anos, com a cena musical pulsante Africana e Brasileira em Lisboa, mediante seus ritmos e sabores.

Respeitosamente em forma de humilde homenagem, decidiu lançar esses 3 temas que lhe saíram em catadupa e de uma vez só, que constituem um profundo voo entre a Europa, a América do Sul e a África. Venice Noir combines violins with deep and rhythmic beats. Venice is the city where Vivaldi was born who composed the 4 seasons. A short part of this epic piece gave me great inspiration for Venice Noir. For me, it's a brave and pushing electronic song.

The original song from this EP was made during Estray stay @ Bali, Indonesia (2018), in a collaboration with Raio aka. Rob Weber (USA / Bali).

Its a mix between Deep House, Ethnic Folk music and Downtempo, followed with 4 amazing remixes from: Savvas (Greece), Yong jai kim (South Korea / Peru), Onur diner (Turkey) and Aleceo (Russia).

tracks from this EP were tested by Estray - many times @ various dancefloors across the World during last 2 years (Ibiza, Mykonos, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Albania, Bali Indonesia, Spain, Serbia, etc)

Sílice es el primer compilado de productores de música electrónica mujeres cis, trans y no binaries editado por Fértil Discos y curado por Barda. Se trata de una compilación de 13 tracks producidos por artistas en su mayoría latinoamericanes, pero también de otras latitudes, con diversidad de ritmos, estilos y paisajes, que les representan.
Desde Turquía a Buenos Aires, con escala en Nicaragua. Estas obras son de artistas atravesadas por momentos e historias de diversos rincones del mundo. De la copla al techno, Sílice nos lleva de paseo por el paisaje interior de un mineral en proceso de cristalización. El album completo estará disponible el 10 de julio de 2020

Sílice is the first compilation made entirely by women (both cis and transgender) and non binary producers, edited by Fertil Discos and curated by Barda. Most of the 13 producers come from Latin America, but there are also a few from other regions, a rich mixture of rhythms, styles and landscapes. 
From Istanbul to Buenos Aires, with a stop in Nicaragua, and so on... From copla to techno, Silice means a journey through the interior landscape of a mineral in the middle of a crystallization process. The full album will be available on July 10th, 2020.
