Hailing from the vibrant city of Belfast, oíche emerged onto the electronic music scene with an innate passion for music and a visionary approach to sonic landscapes. Moving to Glasgow as a teen marked a transformative period for Holly, as she immersed herself in the dynamic electronic music community that Glasgow is renowned for. The city's rich history of techno served as a fertile ground for her own artistic evolution. Now based in Manchester, oíche has cultivated a distinct sound of her own, producing driving, unrelenting techno with a fusion of gritty industrial textures, throbbing basslines, and ethereal melodies. 

As a DJ Holly pushes boundaries and defies expectations fusing elements of industrial, acid and classic Detroit techno, delivering high energy sets.

SOLAS' journey through the realms of electronic music has been a testament to the fusion of two distinct musical cultures – the gritty underground of Belfast and the pulsating energy of Glasgow.

Producing anything from deep house to ambient breakbeat electronica, now based in Manchester Holly plans to release several EP's inspired by her time in Scotland. Drawing inspiration from the electronic sounds of the early 90s, Holly's own music production is experimental, original and does not conform to set genres. As a DJ, SOLAS ventures within all realms of electronic music, with an eclectic and nostalgic taste in records, delivering high energy and engaging sets.
