All things inspirational and influential - the records which have shaped their sound as a producer or selection as a DJ.

This week one of our favourite upcoming DJ and producers @angeldlite joins us for a fast-paced mix of favourites from her collection! You may know Angel from her stunning release 'Dolphins Have Sex For Pleasure' on @banoffee-pies. Free Shelter invites the Dublin born, electronic music connoisseur @oisin-e34, for the 22nd installment of their guest mix series on IDA Radio.

Oisín is a Dublin raised, London based DJ & co-founder of Hypha. A new creative marketing and promo agency assisting independent, underground electronic artists and labels. Helping with sorting our all those promo mails that get lost in the mix, and really focuses on sorting through what works individually for their clients. 

Groomed by the underground scene of Dublin, his knowledge in the landscape of electronic music, no matter the genre, is one we should all strive for. This almost historian approach to the scene is what separates him from the rest. 

His mix traverses a number of different styles including 00's minimal, dub techno, Detroit electro, breakbeat & some of the finest deep house to ever come out of Ireland. Take a bow

Independent Vinyl only Record label Based in London, Gunfinger Food has cooked up an absolute monster of a mix with a variety of sounds to take you on a tasty 2 hour trip. 

What Started off as a monthly radio show in July 2019 to showcase all  types of broken beats and underground rave sounds has now led into establishing the brand as an independent vinyl record label following the same ethos, with 001 out and 002 almost landing.

Lots more releases lined up next year, working with new artists and existing talent.

Joining us this week for the SNS Members mix we have the Crustacean King, Jimmy Asquith. A pillar in the scene over the past few years, Asquith heads up the team over at Lobster records and his fingerprints can be seen all over underground UK music. Alongside running the label/distribution company he also released a string of chunky 12 inches across garage, techno and jungle while also keeping a monthly rinse slot. It’s a great honour to have him jumping in the mix for us and we hope you enjoy the ride.
