After Hours Radio formed in 2014 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, honing their craft through regular performances in the local underground scene. Referring to a member's experience as a late-night radio DJ, the band's name encapsulates an unrestricted songwriting approach. AHR has become known for an infectious blend of groovy riffs and alternative/indie music influenced by rock, funk, and reggae among other genres. Their self-titled debut EP and follow-up single employed this formula with introspective lyrical themes.

AHR's latest EP release brings these favorite musical elements in spades as the lyrics explore the difficulties of moving on and, slowly but surely, rebuilding. 'What Happened?' is available now.

Sometimes we remember to wear our nicotine patches, other times we forget. Sometime we make music, other times we make empty bottles. We are the Cig Butts of America and we've come to shake in your pockets with all your loose change.
