Hello, listeners; it is I, Drop0ff. Eleven days have passed us by...if I were to rate you in comparison to the number ten, I would say that you are an eleven. Such is proclaimed by King Sour Shades himself! I hope you take this tender moment between us to heart, as well as today's song. Are you ready?

Prepare for a seven minute nosedive into one of your favorite Undertale AU tracks of all time: "Our Broken Constellations: Starshards". "Our Broken Constellations" was a track that I composed for Fallen Stars, an Undertale AU that is out of this world. Initially starting off as a combination of Outertale and Underfell, this AU swept the world with its inventive storytelling and ability to break the status quo. Since this project was being lead and developed by my trusted associates, I had the opportunity to take the reigns as a lead musician of the team, proceeding to produce some absolutely smashing fan favorites such as "Showdown in the Cosmos", "Our Broken Constellations", "h-heya.", "Resonating Chortle", and many more. Despite this composition existing for over half of a decade, I never managed to finish a satisfactory update to the beloved song; the closest thing in that regard would be a track that I created over two years ago called "Constellation ZERO", but it was a unique creation in its own right. I did pay heed to it in this new version with a few things...as for the rest of the song, I will leave your listening experience spoiler free. This galactic audio attack from the stars above is best heard and not talked about. Prepare for lift off in the one and only...

so here's a 22 day late special, whoops.

this is entirely comprised of the new earthbound soundfont that's been going around recently, as i just kinda liked using it.
this is also probably the most fun i've ever had making a song, even if it's not the best.
this took heavy inspiration from the halloween hack edition of megalovania (and obviously earthbound), but i also tried to kinda combine aspects from every version of megalovania.

so, now that i've run out of things to say, i guess i'll say thank you.
and also sorry for being lazy and not uploading often, it's just kinda in my nature.

SO I absolutely adore the style of Ainavol! I always wanted to make something like it but never got the chance to. I decided to finally do it after so long thanks to my friend Shyce showing me this really cool sprite they did! I instantly felt inspired to make a song to go along side it. I tried my very best with this track! The mixing might not sound exactly like Bonetrousle, but that's intentional to make it more grand and unique.

Alright about the setting - Papyrus stops us at the end of Snowdin. Having run out of puzzles, his only choice is to capture us in a duel. He is certainly harder to take care of because he doesn't want to fail Undyne and in terms be kicked out of the Royal Guard.

I recommend you join the Discord Server and check the ideas channels if you want to learn more about the encounters and characters. But here are the basic things you have to know about the battle itself:

●Flowey is present in the fight, like in a bunch of other encounters. He and Papyrus are good friends. Flowey tries his best to make sure Papyrus captures (or kills) us by constantly motivating him to focus on his work. Keep in mind we aren't fighting Flowey and he doesn't send out any attacks, he's simply talking.
●As per Undyne's request, Annoying Dog is now Papyrus' Watchdog. Papyrus isn't exactly happy about that, but he had no other options. The Dog is present in a few of Papyrus' attacks but isn't part of the actual battle. Sans also has a Watchdog, it's his Pet Rock...
●Papyrus also summons "Cool Blasters" during his special attack. All Blasters wear different kinds of glasses.
●The way of getting through Papyrus is by complimenting him until he invites us for dinner at a "restaurant" (more on that in the future!). Right before Papyrus spares us, Flowey gets frustrated to the point where he nearly attacks Papyrus but stops himself and leaves.
●The theme does not play on Genocide, it's going to be replaced with a different one.

Leitmotifs include - "Bonetrousle", "Your Best Friend", "sans.", "Spear of Justice", and of course, "PAPYRUS'S COOL SONG" at the end. "His Theme" is also there, but it's quite hidden. The composition itself is also supposed to resemble the Trailer version of Bonetrousle.

Dystherial and I may have missed the boat for Halloween, but we weren't about to throw in the towel. After all, a delayed track is eventually fire.

This is, of course, an updated version of my very old (and very not-good-anymore) track, Ness Means Business, for Patwhit's Smashtale. I don't see it as being strictly affiliated with that AU anymore. It has evolved beyond that, into a celebration of the most iconic and hard-hitting tracks from the Mother series. See if you can identify them all!

I couldn't have done this without the help of the incredibly skilled (and patient) @Dystherial. It was his amps and drums that brought this track to life. You ought to look forward to more collabs between to the two of us.
