Lord MAJi, born in Puerto Rico and raised across the United States, has been profoundly influenced by a diverse array of musical genres, including Salsa, Hip Hop, Alternative, Tribal, Classical, and Rock. His journey began in Rhode Island at age 11, where early hip hop pioneers left a lasting impact on him. In 2004, he briefly lived in Florida, but from 2006 to 2013, Milwaukee became a pivotal chapter in his life, exposing him to the complexities of street culture. Returning to Florida in 2014, Lord MAJi found his true home and has since honed his craft, mastering skills in composition, production, audio engineering, rapping, singing, and video editing. His life as a traveler has enriched his artistic vision, allowing him to seamlessly blend various musical styles into his work. 

Additionally, Lord MAJi has crafted music for placement agencies, with his songs featured in movies, TV shows, and more; showcasing his ability to create impactful and versatile compositions.

UFO Empire, the Orlando based Hip Hop trio comprised of Skipavibez, Trey Duce, and Oklahoma Clay, represents a shift in sound for the Hip Hop/Pop genre.

In October of 2018, they released their debut project SIGNS EP, a 5 track collection displaying the versatility of the group. Mixing an eclectic blend of sounds, lyrics, and imagery; SIGNS EP is an offering that solidifies their namesake. UFO Empire followed up their EP release with the singles TAGS, FACES, and FORTUNE; again further demonstrating their talent as a group to create catchy lyrical offerings over an unexpected sonicscape. 

UFO Empire collectively and as individuals have been producing, writing, and recording music for over a decade, starting as teenagers and continuing to pursue their passion into adulthood. The origin of the UFO Empire name derives from the sound, Unidentified Frequency Overload (UFO) meaning you don’t know what this sound is or is coming from but it’s taking over.

When asked about the response to their eclectic sound the group responded “As we shared our music with others the initial reaction was always the same “I don’t know how to describe it but you guys sound different! It’s spacey, trippy, trappy, melodic, rock infused, lyrical, poetic etc.” and so unidentified seemed fitting. The Empire part is about staking claim to what we represent and the future of our sound.”
