Following our recent news article on Kokong Festival, today we turn our attention to the festival’s inaugural sampler - a curated glimpse into the artists set to perform this weekend inside the iconic geodesic dome at Pub Stallhagen on Åland.

Spanning four tracks, the compilation brings together leading voices from the Nordic electronic music scene: FISK, the analog techno alias of Finnish producer and Elektron product specialist Daniel Troberg; the exploratory textures of Andreas Tilliander and jazz trumpeter Goran Kajfeš; the murky Baltic atmospheres of Havsmörker; and the pulsating club energy of Norwegian techno veteran Mental Overdrive.

Our pick from the sampler is the opening track 'Ilväder' by Scandinavian duo @havsmoorker. Comprising Anton Johansson and Axel Jonsson, the pair fuse field recordings, analogue synthesis, and traditional acoustic instrumentation into immersive folktronica and ambient works. Their sound conjures a sense of sensory navigation - foggy, spatial, and deeply intuitive.

Steeped in atmosphere, Ilväder is both murky and crystalline - a meditative piece that weaves mystical synth lines with effervescent percussion, blending natural elements like flute with earthy, ancient textures. The result is an experimental, downbeat track that gently leans toward the techno spectrum, while remaining rooted in introspection and place.

Eudemonia marks a significant milestone with its 20th
release: Cerebral Waves, the debut EP from Irish sound
engineer and producer Kevin O'Reilly, known under his alias
Otherend. This four-track collection dives deep into the
electro continuum, weaving together cerebral rhythms, acidic
textures, and cosmic atmospheres.

The EP includes three original tracks built around crisp
drum patterns and spacious synths, offering a thoughtful take
on electro with subtle cosmic touches. It closes with a remix
from Sound Synthesis, who brings a smooth melodic drive
while keeping the release’s spacey character intact.

Cerebral Waves is a bold introduction to Otherend’s sonic
universe and a fitting landmark for Eudemonia’s evolving
catalog. Electro heads, space voyagers, and acid lovers—this
one’s for you.

Otherend - Cerebral Waves EP

Produced during a three month sabbatical on an olive oil farm in rural Italy, Etum is the next genre-blurring project from London artist Jeigo, released via his own Fleurella Records.

Immersed in the rhythms of slower living and Tuscan landscapes, the UK producer channels a sense of melancholia, decompression and warmth across this multi-genre LP. From hazy ambient textures to leftfield club cuts and off-kilter breaks, Etum captures the feeling of both solitude and subtle transformation. It marks an introspective turn for Jeigo, further establishing his unique place in the ever-evolving electronic music landscape.

Ivna Ji – Archways – Parcela Sound 01


Dutch based producer Ivna Ji, originally from Croatia, and Mexican artist G13ck (Daniel Vela) introduce their joint imprint Parcela Sound with Archways, a six track release moving through complex rhythm structures, shadowy atmospheres, and deep low frequency currents.

The record balances wide melodic sweeps and distorted textures, building tension between restraint and intensity. Collaborations with Düsseldorf based saxophonist/vocalist Amber Pine and Italian/Dutch producer Riccardo Izzo (Fatalist aka 999) bring vocals and lyrics into the record, giving it a more direct emotional pull.

The project was shaped mainly in Ivna Ji’s home studio with just a few instruments, including Moog’s DFAM and her favorite DSI Evolver, alongside sessions at Zarkoff’s Sensorium Studio, where she focused on mixing and heavily relied on the Sequential Prophet 6, which ultimately proved to be the key ingredient every track was missing.

Mastering was handled by Filip Motovunski, whose sharp ear and precision brought the record to life with clarity and impact, giving the low end full weight without losing the finer details.

Parcela Sound grew out of more than a decade of friendship and collaboration between Ji and Vela, first sparked by a casual exchange of thoughts and admiration developed over years of sharing ideas and supporting each other’s projects, including releases on Vela’s labels Aztlán and Baox. With Parcela, they created a platform that supports emerging and often overlooked artists, some of whom have become close friends over the years.

The artwork by Croatian designer Ugruv Smek, featuring a gecko motif, ties the launch to their shared roots and playful approach.

Archways marks the first chapter of Parcela Sound, a platform for music created with curiosity, care, and connection.

noclubs has all the elements of the perfect party… diy, community oriented, incredible sound (addit audio !!), stacked with locals, extended sets, amazing music & a lovely and down to earth community surrounding it.  shoutout to naone who played before me and richard gregory who played after... amazing music nonstop

more of an afterparty vibe for this set  (´• ͜. •̥`)✧  +  a very self indulgent closing song (one of my favourites of all time)  that felt fitting for the infectiously happy & open vibes at this party.. (but who doesn't love this song?)
