This Forestdelic episode presents THELIOS  with his "A Psytrance Odyssey" live set. Thelios is a project of the new era of psytrance artists. In searching for a new hybrid sound and going thru fields of different productions, he wants to immerse ravers into a parallel and funky universe by changing rhythm and mixing genres. His music can be described as energetic with a nice driving groove, bouncy basslines, glitchy effects, tight drums, and sharp leads, also constantly seeking new sounds, trying to improve his music and bring you happiness.

A fairy tale journey with twisted sounds, off beat sequences and crazy sound design are some of their elements. 'Divergent Polarity' is a double CD of their 5-year-anniversary featuring two themes. The first CD showcases a selection of uplifting and energizing tracks, while the second CD delves into darker and more futuristic sounds that are sure to satisfy the night crowd. With its mechanical rhythms, driving bass lines, and powerful beats, this compilation offers a glimpse into the raw energy and intensity that we aim to bring to our future releases.

Welcome psychedelic  music enthusiasts, it is with great excitement that we unveil the exclusive PsynOpticz Records "Wizardry" series on Psymedia. This start to this series features a phenomenal live set recorded at MOOV Festival in Cape Town by none other than the talented South African producer, Solus.

For those who may not know, Solus is the psychedelic trance project of Hanré Kotzé, a skilled musician who grew up in a music school and tried his hand at various instruments before finding his passion for psytrance in 2012. He was inspired by attending numerous festivals and listening to the genre non-stop. In 2017, he learned how to DJ and after performing at his first outdoor music festival, he decided to broaden his horizons and produce the music he loved so much himself.

Fast forward to 2021, Solus was signed by the mighty PsynOpticz Records and has since released two EPs between 2021 and 2022. He is currently hard at work on his debut album which is set to be released later this year.

Solus is renowned for taking listeners on a high-energy journey ranging from full-on to psychedelic. His love for music and dedication to the craft is evident in every beat he produces. We invite you to join us on this magical journey through the musical landscape of Solus, one of South Africa's finest upcoming producers!
