Joanna OJ mutates and transmutes to create mixes telling stories to sleep standing up.
From deconstructed ambient to intimate breaks to twisted vocals to trappy bass, she crunches genres and pieces the whole together with syncretic taste, the result is a sensualizing surprise that explodes in the mouth. Joanna OJ is a serious digger, she surrounds you in a deep dream of experimental drama. She has appeared on french and international radios (NTS, Lyl, Rinse, Kiosk, Radio Flouka…), she now curates a monthly show for her residency Canine à la furie on Retreat Radio (Malmö). To remain lively but fluid in body and nomadic in spirit.

Ad aprire il sipario, ora come allora, è Hålbë.
Mentre il sole tingeva di rosso il cielo scivolando dietro le colline, le note ambient di Hålbë si aggiravano nel giardino del Castello, pronte ad accogliere e coccolare i primi ospiti.

As the sun turned the sky red as it slid behind the hills, the ambient notes of Hålbë wandered around the garden of the Castle, ready to welcome and pamper the first guests.

— Artist Intro —

London-based Ario is a practitioner of deep and inquisitive music both as a DJ and curator of his label Astral Industries. 
Although his remit falls within the deeper shades of electronic music, his overall aesthetic draws on a broader spectrum that prizes the synthesis of both instrumental and electronic disciplines. 
Depending on context, he traverses the lines and forms between the ambient and techno worlds. What is common in each, however, is his alchemic handling of rich organicism mixed with darker, more austere sounds. 
Speaking with an emotive sensitivity, there is a certain self-awareness that permeates his crafted soundscapes, which are as much drone inspired as they are psychedelic and nature-driven.

I'm George Silver (André Neves) musician and creator, from Barreiro Portugal.

q. is there a story behind the mix?
This mix is made entirely with my own music, through projects like Barata Cósmica, Lunnar Lhamas, Mayor of Vilnius, etc.

q. describe a favourite object in your living room...
My favourite object of the living room is a combination of my record player, because listening to music in a comfortable zone is an old habit.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
I'm always creating new projects, recently finishing my new album, and working on new ways of making live music.

Living Room n°43 ~ George Silver

I'm happy to finally share this journey, streamed on Radio Raheem during the latest UNIT episode.

For this one i decided, instead of mixing in the ‘classic way’, to create a sonic environment of more than 40 tracks; warping, ripping, and drawing details and frequencies from each one of them, creating 30 minutes of submerging sounds flow + one final credits track.

It’s probably one of my personal favorite works/experimentation i've ever done; sooo hope you'll enjoy it as i did while working on it.
