Saeko Killy is a Berlin-based DJ, vocalist, and producer. She started in the Tokyo scene as a DJ. After moving to Berlin in 2018, Saeko found herself in the orb of Club Sameheads, where she gained a reputation as a DJ and live performer. After releasing her first EP Dancing Pikapika on the Chill Mountain label from Osaka in 2021, she engaged in a jam session during the pandemic lockdown, resulting in the eleven tracks featured on her album Morphing Polaroids, produced by Brussels DJ and selector soFa elsewhere. The album has a contemporary leftfield club sound, effortlessly combining elements of dub, post-punk and kraut with electronic beats. Morphing Polaroids was released by the Hamburg-based Bureau B label on March 24, 2023.

I truly believe that any good mix - whether it's a DJ mix for dancing, a love-tape for that sexy person you have your eye on, the perfect soundtrack to eating lobster or (in this case) the perfect tape for spending some time in bed - has to tell a story. I can't claim to be a master story-teller, but i can claim to have a need to tell one - whether you enjoy it or not well thats your opinion. 

I hope that this story guides your dreams and takes you to far away places. The hero - in this case i think it's Alice Coltrane - opens and closes this story with otherworldly beauty that i could no longer leave left in the private collection and inbetween fearless time-travellers provide moments of sorrow, bliss and bent ethereal beauty.
