I started this in 2017. I spent countless hours on it but it never felt right.

So about a month ago I finally decided to let go. I kept the first two minutes which I had always liked, and I wrote a simple ending and scrapped the rest.

This song has followed me through a lot, and now it finally feels complete. It means a lot to me, and I hope it can mean a little to you as well.

Sleep Tight

So I have been working on this in between life for a few days....  I am fascinated by all things Japan,  especially the nature and local country legends.... thinking about it all,  concocted a story in this girl's head yet again. This is a tale of three young sisters from a noble family set in ancient Japan: Shizuka, Haruka, and Mai. All three among the most beautiful maidens in their village. The ladies were kind and gentle and so they were adored by many,  especially their widower father for whom they were his world,  until one day, an evil woman charmed her way into their family and put a love spell  on their beloved father. And so, he decided to marry her and have her live with them in their home. You see the evil step mother,  having met the girls, because overcome with jealousy of their youth and kindness as she had  daughters of her own who were as ugly on the inside as they were on the outside.  and so she used dark magic in hopes of turning the three girls into  ugly creatures to be cast out  of the village never to be seen again.  But  as much hate and venom as she could  channel into her spell... instead, the. three young maidens turned into beautiful sakuras with petals dancing in the wind... Destined to grace  the  villagers with their sweet aroma and gentle rosy colours... And so they wait...until one day, the  evil step mother's  spell can be broken and the girls return to their beloved father to  life out their days happily.... This is  their story...  in sound....  Enjoy :)

Hey guys, I’m really excited to release the title track of my album “World in Color” for y’all to hear. The first three songs of the album start the journey and the intention behind the music I want to create. Onset starts with an epic explosion of color, bringing you into the start of the journey and the pure confidence and inspiration that carries you through the creative process. Heartbeat then focuses on the introspective self doubt and self awareness to then become yourself through realizing that acceptance of who you are is the key to happiness. 

This song, World in Color, is the outcome of this realization in Heartbeat. Without many of the things that hold you back, you are free to create in such a way that there are no limits. It’s such a valuable feeling and I hope that this song causes you guys to feel the inspiration that I felt when producing and perfecting it.

The boi @jetomoosic deserves an extra special thanks in this song because of the mindset I was in when I created it. The day before I created this song, I was doubting my production skills, the future of my music, and if I wanted to keep doing it. Soon after jeto sent me two midi compositions, one of which ended up being this song. Something about knowing that there was intention behind what he created and that he was willing to send it to me sparked the onset of the creative flow towards the creation of this song. It really is valuable to have supportive friends around me to keep me in line.

Also thx to @jetomoosic for help on the mix and master. The fact that I can convey this message in such a professional manner, more so than I can do by myself, means the world and I hope you guys enjoy :)
