Daniel LaCouture better known as Ras Daws was born on Cape Cod, MA. He began DJing at age 15 and by the time he had reach 18 he was playing gigs around New England. fast forward a decade and Ras Daws was throwing a Bass Music weekly in Worcester, MA called Bass Embassy featuring top national Dubstep DJs and Producers. Also, at that time he and his crew N.E.B.A (New England Bass Alliance) were tearing up the scene and hosting their own show on Dubstep.fm called, N.E.B.A Presents: Bass Face Radio which in 2009 was one of the leading podcasts in the U.S. pushing the Dubstep sound.
 Ras Daws moved to Durango, CO in 2011 where he wasted no time bringing the Dubstep sound he pushed and loved to the small beautiful mountain town he came to fall in love with. Over the past decade he has thrown many shows and played loads of dope sets  for the heads. So, when see the name Ras Daws at an event in your city or town, you know your ears are in for a treat.
