For those who care (no one):

Most likely this is the last track for this year. It's time for a break. I'm completely disillusioned with my music — it brings me no joy whatsoever. And that can't go on.
After all, music is supposed to be a hobby, something that makes you feel alive. But in my case, it does the opposite.
So the question naturally arises — why keep torturing myself? For what purpose?
Clearly, I have no answer to that. Which means it's time to end this nightmare and focus on things that might actually make me happy.
...Or maybe even work on myself, so that one day my music won’t sound so dreadful.
Who knows — we’ll see.

I shouldn’t have returned after ending this journey back in autumn 2024. But for some reason, a few close friends urged me to give it another try.
Looking back now, coming back into this mess was a biggest mistake ever.

If nothing drops by Christmas (except 200 followers EP which is prepared), then nothing ever will. That's a promise
This time, for real. I’m not my own enemy.
After three years of production, I should’ve realized by now: maybe it’s just not meant to be.

J Beatz, the grime/dubstep producer/DJ and Mode London head honcho returns to Boka Records with a brand new 3 tracker. Get to know J Beatz, he's a don and deserves your support.

'The theme of the '333' EP was to make dubstep that's weighty and rhythmic while incorporating incorporating elements of dub and grime. As primarily a grime producer, I find it important to include elements of grime in my dubstep tracks. This is the World I'm coming from and I'm bringing my own unique take on the sound. I also don't want to sound like everyone else and I want to bring something new to the table. I'm going against the rules and doing what I wanna do.

I also make a concentrated effort to incorporate dub in my dubstep tracks, As I find it a missing key component in dubstep. I simply think it's missing and we need to hear more of it. So I'm going to make an effort to include these elements.

The title track of the EP '333' is an ode to the club in Shoreditch which used to host classic dubstep nights in the 2000s. I started '333' with the bass line, which instantly reminded me of old school dubstep. I wanted to hone in on this vibe as well by adding the dub guitar lick.

'Creatine' is a weighty dubstep/grime hybrid track that can fit in a dubstep rave or a set with grime MC's. The bass is straight dubstep with elements of grime in the drum programming to make it more rhythmic than your average dubstep track.

I close the EP with 'Mad House' which is a mad wobbler with some grimy drums and dub elements too! Enjoy!' - J Beatz, Sept 2025
