Oldboy is the brainchild of Swedish musician Gustav Roth, a musical medium created to converge his lifelong curiosity for exploration with having fun. Oldboy exists within his own rules for life; Be a Lord of Dogtown and also a loving Father. Be loving, be brave and never grow up. Travel the world and be at peace with yourself and your surroundings, no matter where life takes you.

Musically, Oldboy is similarly curious; creating timeless meaningful indie songwriting with a boisterous modern musical edge. There amongst the contradictions, with both music and life, is where the magic exists. Oldboy represents a timeless sound where you can be adventurous, curious and everything in between.

The music is all around us, all you have to do is listen.
