Click, boom. You're dead!

You've woken up out of nothing surrounded by valleys of gold.

A reflection of light bounces off a piece of glass you just noticed in your hand,, Manifested out of nothing, a compass that won't stop spinning..

The north and south lost to the east west.

A Blinding light leads you. This must be salvation.

So you walk and walk., but nothing changes.. your distance compared to light grows constant and at your feet the golden earth has grown in heat as you continue your path.

Near your feet you find fragments of bone glazed, left sterilized white by the beaming light.

You continue your journey only to find the same image, again.
and again. and again. the same remains glistening bright white.

Dry heat turns your mouth to cotton,,

and as you continue the light slowly retracts, fading as it does when time is at its end.

So you run, and run,

chasing light until it escapes right before your eyes.. you're unsure of what darkness brings and your lack of control provides no solace.

so you stand there panting, suffocated by sweat that wont drip., you begin to feel like stretched leather ready to rip.

A wild tone takes over as ominous clouds spread and mutate until your direction now is entirely uncertain.

You're enveloped in a hard to breathe atmosphere and it seems the stars have come out to dance. The air around you turns your hairs up and a dampness sets over so thick you can catch handfuls of water.

Puddles form under your feet as you begin to worry about this new absence of light. Directionless, you start walking again, you move and move and move, in search of.. what feels right.

With your tension slowly loosening, the heat of your body is met with a breeze that cools you all over.

Overtime it all starts to feel comfortable. The coldness seems to soothe more than the light ever did. The ascension into darkness feels more and more reassuring as you let it take ahold. This must be salvation. "This must be salvation." you whisper as you're brought into his office..
