Another Essential Mix from 2003 was from another Nu Skool Breaks legend Adam Freeland. Pretty much the height of his career at this time with so many tunes under his belt from his label Marine Parade and so many bootlegs under different alias's it was a healthy time for the breaks scene and much loved by all.

This mix was aired on BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from Adam Freeland back in 2003.

Uberzone aka Timothy Wiles is an American born DJ/Producer who has been an avid producer of electronic music since the mid 1990's where he spent some time playing in the early rave scene. He released his first album "Ideology" in 2007 to fantastic reviews and toured extensively with such acts as The Crystal Method. This mix was recorded for Groove Radio back in 2007 and features tracks from his Ideology album.

RePlumped - Mixtape - Plump Djs

This set was first performed on January 1st 2024 in San Francisco at the Breakfast of Champions block party on the Space Cowboys main stage.

A RE:CONSTRUCTED set is a *long* way removed from a standard DJ set. It's a live/hybrid set.

Simon takes hundreds of tracks from his huge library, painstakingly deconstructs them (using Ai if needed to separate elements from the original tracks), and then pieces everything back together to create a hugely emotive and immersive musical story.

He uses Ableton Live and multiple controllers to trigger up to 16 individual channels of audio at any one time during the performance, and also performs live keyboard overdubs. The end result is a hugely addictive, compulsive and compelling blend of music that's often new, often familiar but always utterly unique.

Just someone who has a love for Breaks (almost all breaks but specifically Florida and Louisiana Breaks and Vocal Breaks)...Electro...Trance...Drum&Bass...Dub (the original Dub that was around the Tampa scene from the 90's and early 2000's...not the new Dub that these kids think is the shit)...Trip-Hop...E-Hop...and a few others. Was HEAVILY involved (to put it lightly...no pun intended but pun intended) in the Tampa/Orlando scene from the late 80's thru around 2007 or so...until the scene changed or was forced to change...but this shit is in my blood!!! I guess like they say...Blood in...Blood out!!! Had an iconic and well known house in South Tampa that was called "The House On Stilts"...it was the only house in the subdivision that was up on stilts like a beach house. And if you were in the scene...odds are you've swung thru at some point for one or more of the parties...Lol!!! If so...hit me up and tell me about it...I love hearing the stories because MAN O' FUCKING MAN...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Best times of my life...and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...I mean breakbeat!!!
