Failed relationships suck. 
Romantic or not. I just don't find it fun, but the reality is- it's a part of life. 

This past year I went through a pretty bad breakup...there's really no better way to put it, but "shit hit the fan" and I knew I had to get out. It's crazy cause I don't have many good friends but she was one of them... so getting out of the relationship wasn't easy for me but I HAD to do it. I kind of knew it going in- I had a gut feeling it wasn't for me and God made that clear... but I'm stubborn sometimes and honestly, it might not be the person you're with that causes the mess, but your disobedience. I feel like you can love ANYONE if you put enough time and effort forth, however, I put so much into it that it led to the point of exhaustion. It's like I was wrestling God to be in something I knew I shouldn't have been in. We broke up multiple times and it truly wasn't healthy for either of us, so this last time I knew I had to be done for good. After the whole thing, I found myself in Phil's basement telling him what went down. I was hurt but at the same time, I felt that God had given me this sense of peace. I told Phil (old chingu) I needed to put how I was feeling into a song and "Everytime" was the result. I hope y'all enjoy the music, but more importantly, I hope everyone who hears this song, knows that before you start looking for the "one", you gotta love God and you gotta love yourself. If you get this down, then everything else will fall into place.
