Old Chingu means Old Friend in Korean. Like his name implies, he loves to connect with people from all walks of life. He combines Alternative Hip-Hop, catchy melodies and down-to-earth lyrics.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where he grew up being inspired by all kinds of music and culture. He began his career in 2018, with the intention of empowering the youth with positive and genuine creativity. Most people underestimate his ability because of his ethnic background. However, he uses that to his advantage and has become a pivotal role-model to many Asian Americans in the world.

His music is inspired by Mac Miller, Andre 3000, Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Tyler, The Creator, Joey Bada$$, BROCKHAMPTON, Healy and too many others to name.
