I've been recording electronic music on-and-off now for some thirty years. When I sit down to make music, I usually end up getting lost in making sound instead :) 

A lot of what I have here is made while testing instruments I've repaired.

Here's my Centrikal bio:

Centrikal (Patrick Frye) is a DJ and producer who specializes in electro and draws from his background in house and techno. His production and DJ sets showcase decades of experience, including collaborations with artists like DJ Slip and Freaky Chakra, and a release alongside Grammy-nominated artist Style of Eye. Centrikal's signature sound features heavy basslines, fluid and layered rhythms interwoven with futuristic melodies.

His music has been released on labels including SubSensory, Particle Music, Peloton Musique, Radda Records, Innerflight Music, Nude Photo Music, bleepsequence, and his own An1mlz Music.

As a member of the Nu Habitat and 23L3CTRO crews based in Portland, Oregon, Centrikal is an active force in the local music community, organizing and participating in events that champion underground dance music.
