Life is Easy is a disturbingly serene look at unhappiness and desolation. 

A collection of nine songs recorded entirely live in State Shirt's bedroom studio—using a technique called live looping—along with an array of obsolete electronics, guitars, and his voice. 

Each song on the album was written and recorded live in one day—often starting out as an improvisation. Gently traveling from weird ambient swells, ghostly harmonies, funereal rhythms, freakish beatboxing, and disconcerting noises, Life is Easy takes you on a mournful march to the darkest corners of hopelessness.

Regeneration

First little experiment with my new Eurorack system.  The output from the Eurorack is piped into the external input of a Moog Sub37.  Output from the Moog goes into a MF-104M delay, a MF-105M MIDI MuRF, and a Strymon blueSky reverb.

Hey, let's escape. We've been friends for years and we don't want the same, and we can't share space, but at least we can agree on a destination and not getting away for getting away's sake. There's no fairytale trip; have you ever slept rough in an airport in Europe? Each coast washes up shit, but if it's a shore I've never seen then I'll endure it. I'm not getting away for getting away's sake. We'll probably get asked if we're selling drugs, and we'll probably get mugged because every tourist does. You've got more money for drinks when the hookers are rough, and by week two we got used to the taste of blood. By week two we got used to the South Beach cops, dress codes, which notes get you a drink or not, which limits got crossed when British kids got shot, and which spirits make peach tea the perfect drop.

Hot on the success of their debut album ‘Everything Else Matters’ Pinkshinyultrablast, a five-piece band from Saint-Petersburg in Russia, are set to release a new single, ‘Kiddy Pool Dreams’ on 2nd October on Club AC30.
 
The band take their name from an Astrobrite album, an act who were, according to the band, instrumental in how they “researched spaces between ambient, heavy guitar and pop music” .The spaces are what stand out, the production creates a dream-like affair, while space to breathe and reflect on the beauty of the music is accommodated. There is sparseness to the album that in turn gives spaciousness, even expansiveness.

‘Kiddie Pool Dreams is indicative of a forthcoming album full of even more melodic gems and shimmering shoegaze - euphoric with spectral guitars, its sharp edged pop has a radiant charm. 

To celebrate the release of ‘Kiddy Pool Dreams’ the band will be embarking on a full UK tour on the dates below.
