   Yo, I'm Rob. Gulf Coast native, particularly the swamps of south Louisiana.

    I've been making music for 30 years. I started off as a percussionist/drummer and then learned the xylophone, which opened me up to the piano.
    
   I've been doing it digitally for 20+ years (2002/FruityLoops 3.4).

    I'm also a published poet. 

   We all see things differently.

    I don't make music to make money or fans. I make music to make music.
    If other people like it, and I make a few bucks, it's what us Cajuns call "lagniappe"....a bonus/a little extra.
    I don't need anybody else to like it for me to like it, and I f🤬king LOVE. 
    It's the difference between it being a creative outlet or work.
   Once you start focusing more on the followers/shares/likes than the art, you are no longer an artist, and it has become work. 
    
   I share it with the hopes that maybe it will inspire someone else to create something that inspires the next person and that person inspires even more. That's it. Simply put. No matter what the outcome is about other people being moved by it or not being moved by it, it doesn't affect how much I love it. It's an expression of my soul, and I understand that it's not going to be for everybody. 

and if people don't like it then I'm actually helping them out a little bit because it makes them like what they do like even more 🤸
