I got into "proper" music around the age of 9/10. Breakin and the full B-Boy thing just grabbed me-and wanted to be with the older kids who were into it.The music was just like nothing else on radio and I can honestly say-commercial radio died for me then(Street Sounds,owe you big time!). Hip Hop/Electro mixtapes melted into Chicago/Detroit House n Techno by the time I was 12/14 n not many mates liked it.Then came Acid house and I couldn't wait to get involved but just too young still and it weren't till early 90 we started getting in places at 15/16 the next 18 months were ace-I can only imagine what the real"early days" were like! Obviously it opens your ears to other styles/genres and it switched me on to loads-Indie/Madchester/60's Psychedelia,Soul/Funk/Motown/Northern Soul,Reggae/Ska anything good/different I'll at least try.... basically no commercial/pop stuff.Music-couldnt live without it-FACT!

My journey started from with no previous experience.. Never planned on learning to DJ.  Hopefully over the years ive improved. Did have a 3 year break but now back on it and committed x  I was heavily involved in the illegal party and rave culture of the early 90s.
