Back to my roots so to speak. I started off many years ago attempting Enya covers and this one has been lurking in the background for some time. Finally dusted it off and remastered it and here it is. As usual the odd duff note and what have you but hey I don't mind if you don't.

And now for something completely different. I woke up yesterday morning with a mashup of Dagny's "Wearing Nothing" and Younger's "Out of my System" singing in my head. Since I'm (supposed to be) on vacation, I thought - why not! Amazing what you can do these days, using ONLY two mp3s as raw material! I separated stems using RX 8 and remixed it in Studio One. Removed some harshness using Soothe and mastered it with Ozone 9. Probably 15 hours of work, since it was my first project in Studio One - using only headphones. :D But I had a blast. Probably the first time I did something - completely out of my comfort zone music-wise just for the kicks of it - in many years.

Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" Not my usual type of stuff but its an Instrumental synth version that has been kicking around the computers hard drive for a while so here it is.  Please excuse any duff notes its all been transcribed (OCR Scanned) as I can't play for toffee.

No Ai here thanks. You can sort of tell this little tune was played by a ham fisted human thanks to the occasional chord change mistake on the bassline (due to me only having 2 hands) I left them in rather than mess about, as well, I'm not paid to do this, if you want a professional then get Jarre in to do it :) Sort of a basic John Carpenter style meets Jarre meets a synth doodle. Again all sounds etc from the Avenger 2

This is a WAV Copy . Please do not rip or share it's for streaming enjoyment only . I thought it was a great song that the band were great Live and Elly Jackson was a star. Seems I was right and it became a big hit. My mixes that are not accepted by the artists for RELEASE only due to timescales or to many other mixes. Some artists like to control the releases some like Madonna or U2 or La Roux just don't want loads of Official mixes when there are loads of DJ Edits. Fade to Grey by Visage must have 100 version's out there , They send them to me but UMG own Visage .I remade FTG on the Blitzed OST

Originally I composed on an Atari 1040ste then evolved into tape mixing and basic PC use - eventually started using Cubase about 12 years ago with a couple of old analogue synths and some basic VST stuff and now and I use Studio One and a Nektar LX61+ keyboard. Literally everything sits on the desk now. I'm still not a musician and still spend hours programming and producing things by ear using whatever technology I have to get the results I like.  Some are good some are bad but its therapy for me nothing else and if people like some of it that's a bonus.
