Sound Avenue presents the Deep Motions EP from Brazilian producers Cipriani and Hans Gerd. The three-track release features the title piece Deep Motions alongside Woods Acid Adventure and Antares, offering a refined blend of deep, melodic, and progressive sounds.

Based in Brasília, Hans Gerd made his first appearance on the label group with a track on the Dimensions compilation and later contributed releases to both 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue. Known for his warm-up sets and his role as co-founder of the local collective Altar, Hans brings a detailed and organic touch to his productions.

Cipriani makes his debut on Sound Avenue, following recent collaborations with Hans Gerd on 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue. Together, the duo showcases a natural creative chemistry, delivering an EP that captures the deep, percussive, and evolving essence of the Sound Avenue sound.

UK duo Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves AKA Death On The Balcony make their return to budding imprint All Day I Dream this month, treating dreamers to a splendid four track release. The record follows on from the killer 'Lingala' from label boss Lee Burridge and collaborator Lost Desert, which set charts alight in recent weeks. The rising outfit now hosts an intricate and eclectic ensemble of cuts from Death On The Balcony, including ‘Tides Of Fortune' - a tune, which has been causing much ado since 2015.

We're very excited to present Caramelli's solo creation '1,700 Miles' in full premiere today to When We Dip readers. The B-side on the release offers up a spectacular near ten minute epic, which fuses a thumpin' kick drum with a collection of spicy melodic touches and fluttering perc elements. The sophisticated raciness of Dole & Kom is always a fascinating thing to witness. Their title ‘Samoja’ means serious business in terms of beats, bass and the resulting danceability. The playful instrumentations and afro vocal part of this title create a very musical counterpart. ‘Juniper’, their streamlined second track on this EP, follows a trajectory that clearly aims at a good time on the dancefloor while its mighty hypnotic potential remains hovering in the background like an otherworldly presence. Variation is always good and that's why there's two remixes, as well: Mollono.Bass with an energetic departure and Elfenberg with a tribalistic flow experience.

Now, what do we have here... A brand new offering by Mr. Panthera Krause. You know, Krause as in Riotvan shareholder and co-curator, fun guy behind the decks (and in general) and last but not least innovator and maverick of all things House. Krause has been proven over the course of his previous EPs on Riotvan that his approach to electronic music is one of a kind and never lacks a certain tongue in cheek attitude. Exactly that is now validated by these two new cuts, maybe more concise and on point than ever. And these tunes are not only an indicator about where the boy is at right now, they are also a foretaste of an album that will be released later that year on Riotvan.

Side one contains the "Genki Girl", a character of the rather quirky kind, it seems. Krause introduces a beat rich in cowbell and tambourine use, topped by a guitar lick, that sparks some memories of that time when Funk and Punk fell in love and a label like DFA had its heydays. While adding synth arrangements, one could assume, Krause might've gone a bit bonkers for a second. And that's applying to both, the rhythmic patterns as well as the lead that throughout time gets adapted by various other instruments. A rich and haywire tune that still retains an utmost floor appeal. 

Same goes for "Spring Irre" on the flipside. As the German title already indicates, this one is even nuttier. Guitar samples triggering a certain Talking Heads memento meet eccentric pitchshift modulations and an indeed jumping bass sounding as if it was played by Bootsy Collins on ephedrine. A sidestepping, plain unpredictable monster of a track that despite of all its complexity at any moment delivers groove and joy and unrestricted frenzy.

With a hefty back catalog of releases and an ever-evolving style, Berlin mainstay Niko Schwind dives into his introspective side on the Amari EP, which boasts four original tracks including a collab with DJ, producer and vocalist Felix Raphael.

Opener Circles is a tangle of dreamy pads and wistful vocals, with gleaming synths and undulating drums complementing Felix Raphael’s pensive lyrical incantations.

A walk on the tribal side, Kala combines introspective melodies with relentless percussion. Indigenous chants accent the mystic rave atmosphere, building up to an immersive, hypnotizing climax. Equally mesmerizing, but channeling a more constant energy is Amari, taking us on a dynamic journey with occasional bursts of sonic color. Zugvögel is a laidback track that builds slowly, adding subtle layers of cosmic melody with psychedelic vocals and a deep, mind-bending bassline, rounding off the release in a contemplative fashion.
